I loved it!!! I laughed so much. One thing that was missing while mentioning no themeing and then about the trains and the ride ops. When the train goes up the lift hill the song Renegade by Styx is playing. After you stand in line for 2 1/2 hours and hear Renegade several times it gets pretty annoying. For anyone who is not a sports fan won't really know the significance of Renegade, I am a sports fan and a fan of the Pittsburgh teams and I seriously didn't understand Renegade till I Googled it while in line...lol. So, here it is. It originated in 2002 when the Steelers were playing the Browns and were down 24 to 7 and during commercial break the song was playing over the PA and the crowd got into the song and the Steelers mounted a comeback and won the game, so now every Steelers home game that song is played.

I first heard about this ride from Defunctland’s video on The Old Mill/Garfield’s Nightmare and upon first glance, seeing the name ‘Steelers’, the sign’s steel beam-like posts and the colour scheme of the ride made me think it was themed to a construction company.

Watch it Taylor... Pittsburgh Steelers fan here. We may fall short but we still can win games and got 6 Super Bowls first and fairly. Steel Curtain was the nickname of the Steeler's defense in the 1970's. I would've ride it in August. August was too be my Midwest Coaster Tour. I was going to visit Holiday World (first visit), Cedar Point and Kennywood (first visit) but I fell off my bike and suffered an compound fracture in both my lower arm bones back in February and had to postpone the trip. Hoping to make it next year.

I was: on the first SC ride on media day July 12th 2019 I am: a relative to a Russian family that moved to the US in 1888 I hope: Taylor gets a night ride in the front row since the pacing is better later in the day, front is the best experience and night time is great.

FYI, Blue Streak at Cedar Point is theamed to the Sandusky school district’s sports mascot, Skyliner at Lakemont Park is theamed to the baseball team that plays at the stadium next door, and Great Bear is theamed to the Hershey Bears hockey team. Steel Curtain certainly isn’t the first sports theamed coaster, it just got the most media attention. The only coaster where the sports theme actually works is Skyliner since much of the traffic it gets comes from people catching a ride on it before the baseball game and it would pump up a sports fan pre-game perfectly.
