I got annoyed especially at the beginning of the parody since I love Disney and get annoyed at the Disney line comments as well as the another kiddie ride comment but the audition saved it. I shared it with my Disney loving sister-in-law... FYI Rapunzel does deserve a ride, all she has is the best bathroom area I have ever seen...

I remember Wodan at Europa-Park had the opposite issue. The line moved so fast, I never had time to sit down. I got so tired. And the way they designed the queueline, I kept thinking the station was just around the corner.

You know what would be a cool coaster for Disney to add next year, a B&M Dive coaster themed to the lion king. It would probably be only be around hundred feet tall (or less) and you would climb a lift hill up a model of pride rock. Once you reach the peak of the ride will play the circle of life will as you hang of the edge. After the beginning drop off pride rock into a small tunnel you would traverse a large sweeping 180 turn followed by an air time hill into a midcourse followed by a near miss with some rocks. And into a dip under the queue and into a small hill into the break run.

One time, a couple of years ago near the time when seven dwarves opened, we got in line at 5. The SUN WAS STILL IN THE SKY! By the time that we began the ride, it was pitch black outside and IT WAS POURING! I checked my phone, and IT WAS 7:36!!! That's how crazy the line was. 2 1/2 hours!

My strategy to not wait long lines without a fast pass is to go at rope drop everytime. Able to ride all major attractions in a span of two hours.

Yeah, Seven Dwarves isn't worth the wait and the lines everywhere else are incredibly long too. It's not that Disney has such large crowds, but rather it's the fastpass system that manages those crowds poorly. With fastpass, the standard queue for SDMT can be up to 120 minutes from the sign. If you've ever gone to one of the holiday parties without fastpass, a fully packed line only takes 25 minutes, which is such a dramatic difference. The issue is that Disney gives out too many fastpasses, and I'm sure that this is done on purpose to artificially inflate line wait times. It encourages people to buy extra tickets for more days, or to spend money on the holiday parties. Disney also uses the crowds that it artificially creates to justify jacking up prices. The logic is that higher prices thin out the crowds but Disney is the one generating inflated crowds in the first place. If you've ever been to the parks on days where walking around, it doesn't feel crowded but Test Track is 120 minute wait, it means that Disney strategically is generating more fastpasses to inflate the wait times and show that the crowds are high, therefore justifying a price hike. It's good business for Disney but bad for the consumer. There certainly are ways to plan well and experience every big attraction in a park, but it requires more effort than most vacations are worth. As a local, I enjoy going to the parks frequently, but I anticipate there will be a tipping point for Disney where the crowd to price point ratio will backfire on them.

My personal tipping point happened a very long time ago. I would much rather just go to Busch Gardens & Sea World when I'm in Florida. As much as I love great theming, and I do think excellent theming can make up for a mediocre ride, I do not want to wait in these crazy lines or be a part of this system that you described so well. It's not worth the time, money, or frustration. If I'm feeling up to going to a park with great theming & longer lines & higher prices, I'll go to Universal Studios.

Due to the logistics of the ride, more trains would simply slow it up. The ride already takes an unusual number of pauses at the brake sections due to how many trains it has already.

To skip the waits just go to the after hour events they have. Like the Christmas one, the Halloween one and I think during the summer they just have a normal one. But they’re really nice you can go to the park around 5 or something like that then stay until 1 am so if you stay up late in the first place it isn’t that big of a deal plus it’s still at least 5 hours in a theme park which is plenty long enough the only downside is that after the park “closes” not all the food places are open and some of the rides shut down but a lot of them stay up

I've literally never waited in a longer line for anything anywhere in my life. Soarin's line opening year was shorter. Also the first coaster I was actually disappointed when I rode. I was younger and didn't look at stats before I rode. I was under the impression it was a scaled UP Thunder Mountain, not scaled down!

I think Small World is an excellent attraction (and the original Disneyland one is even better). I'm the kind of person that prefers dark rides and original ideas though. I certainly enjoy thrill rides, but creative dark rides will always be preferable to me.

With the budget Disney assigns to their rides, they could make such a good coaster. It's upsetting that they only really make family rides. That's why I'm super excited for Tron and the new Guardians of the Galaxy coaster. Hoping both will be great.

I was at the park when this thing opened and a few times after that but I never got to ride it because of the line. I only got to ride it a couple years ago with a fast pass and was immensely disappointed. I don’t understand how it’s so popular.
