Another Blackpool Pleasure Beach Vlog 3rd June 2018

Join us as we head back into the park for some more awesome Icon action and many other rides on a very sunny and quiet day
After a great stay at the Big Blue Hotel we took advantage of the VIP south entrance and headed straight back to Icon “now our favourite UK steel coaster” plus a ride on the classic Pleasure Beach Express miniature railway for the first time in a Coaster Crazy vlog
The park was extremely quiet meaning plenty of rides all day including 5 on Icon with a 5min wait all day, awesome
Vlog filmed in HD 1080p 60fps using a GoPro Hero 6 with official accessories......please note that on ride filming is banned at the park so no on ride povs except on the Pleasure Beach Express

The pleasure beach has changed beyond recognition. I haven't been for years. It looks lovely and clean. Don't remember it being so clean in the 70's and 80's. Guess I am showing my age now lol. I remember the Revolution opening and I was there on the launch day of PlayStation....never been on it though. Another great vlog as per :)

Ellie Fishwick it’s a stunning amusement park and one of the best in the world definitely the best park in the UK in my opinion, yes it doesn’t have the big B&M’s like Towers or Thorpe but it doesn’t need them

I agree they taken out ! all the classic rides including the Wild Mouse ...I am afraid the place is gonna be just white knuckle rides.......If people want to ride just white Knuckle go to Alton Towers ...plus Children are to small for many of the rides.....Margate Host Both !

I love staying at The Big Blue with its private Entrance. Blackpool on a sunny day is awesome. Kinda love the rainy days as well 😜

It was very busy the day before, 90 min que at one point but to be fair the operators were fab and the que went down quickly. I did see a lot of people hesitating to ride though! Don't know why it's amazing

Oh god that's me at 7.53 waiting for my kids to come off Icon 😂 Didnt realise I was on the telly!😁 Icon is bloody fantastic, can't wait until November going back for late night riding and staying in big blue - my son bought that t-shirt and the hoodie also they are really good quality

I wish we didn’t live so far down south. Would love to go to BPB but it’s nearly 6 hour drive for us. We’re off to Thorpe Park for my sons 12th birthday tomorrow and it’s the apocalypse weekend. I’ll be fangirling but also regretting the queues and volume of people that I presume will be there. Last we went it was Easter Sunday 2017 and it was dead!! Everything apart from inferno and saw was walk on. I’m doubting it will be that quiet tomorrow 😞

Nice to see a positive Vlog about the BPB. I know for a lot of years the state of the park etc upset a lot of coaster fans. It looks nothing like when I was there in 2001

Went on big dipper a few weeks back and it beat me up and bruised me so much I was way too tender to ride anything for rest of the day, shame as I was enjoying Icon so much! I know it's an old classic but it has never been that rough before, grand national was actually smoother!

In the seventies the park was open until late ! now it close s early why? As Teens we loved the night and the park all lite up during the summer Months.....as a child we used to ride The Alice In wonderland lots during the 60 s and the cars used to stop ! in the ride, and we used to shout HELP.......! still miss the log flume ! great ride back in the day ! Further more they" put a Wall around the park so its impossible to see in at the front.....Are they" trying to deter the public ?

Love watching back on your old vlogs again but I think pleasure beach should repaint the woodie as they just look a bit tacky where the rust is going down the white paint

Even though Alton towers has more complex theming, BPB is better for me. I don't like major thrill rides so, at Alton the only place to go is CBeebies land and if I go there I'm afraid people will make fun of me so whenever I go to Alton towers, I always end up going on only 1 or 2 rides. BPB on the other hand has more variety. Last time I went, I only went on 2 coasters (blue flyer and steeplechase) and went on Wallace and gromit, the ghost train, alice in wonderland, Grand Prix, impossible and the Chinese puzzle maze so, BPB gets my vote for best British park.

I like PB but Alton towers I like more for the rides and the themeing and the scenery, I would rather go to Alton towers on a weekday off peak though, pb is better for weekends

icon is just amazing I went to Blackpool pleasure beach on a school trip and I got front row on icon 3 times I was not expecting to get on at the front so many times and the queue goes really quickly

Why is icon so quiet? Rides are usually VERY busy when they're brand new If they get ride of the bowl o drome I'd like a GCI woodie like white lighting. And eventually a Mack big dipper in the trauma towers/wild mouse space

James Beaver yes, it’s called Speedy Pass ! We have been to the Pleasure Beach 100’s of times and never used it but worth it if it’s a busy day and you want to get on everything in one day

A bit of advice mate, ive got the chance to go to either Thorpe or Blackpool next month , which one would you recommend bearing in mind i haven't been to either in over 14 years? halcyondaystunes exactly ! We have stayed at some god awful b&b’s in the past, with nice hotels like Big Blue, Premier Inn etc you know what you are getting and don’t mind paying a little bit more for it, Big Blue also has really nice family rooms unlike anywhere else we have stayed at before
