I love this stuff! Can’t believe you showed what was left of the sign. I had just told someone that happened. I also can’t believe our paths didn’t cross until 2009.
@CoasterBob624 жыл бұрын
My friend and I were planning to visit that day, and when we heard that the sign got blown over, we were even more excited! I released that footage years ago, but not the rest of it until now. I'm finding a lot of stuff I haven't posted before -- might as well post it now while have time. Who knows, maybe I have shots of you from back then! :O

@@CoasterBob62 I can't wait to see more of the older stuff. I can't imagine what footage you have of me being stupid on camera, but didn't make the cut. Maybe not anything at all. I have some KI footage from 1990 that will be released in June, exactly on the day it was recorded, thirty years prior. It was the trip that broke my fear of coasters.

I doubt you'll see my comment but if you do, just want to say thank you for uploading this footage. My family and I used to go to king's dominion in the early 2000s. I remember the Nickelodeon stuff there way back. 2003 I was only 5, now at nearly 24 I've been feeling nostalgic over this park and it's nice to see old footage archived. I love how you said when the scooby-doo thing is gone in twenty years you'll have film of this, and hot damn you were right.

Yeah I don't get why CF repainted it (let alone why they repainted Face/Off when it looked great Yellow and Red), or when they did. It looks pretty ugly now compared to the old color scheme that I called the "Purina" colors (because of the red and white checker pattern at the top).

Now in 2024: Netflix wants to enter theme park market. They consider building their own park but aren’t super confident just yet. July 1, 2024: Cedar Fair merges with Six Flags adopting the “Six Flags” name while taking majority control. December 2024: BREAKING NEWS: SIX FLAGS sells King’s Island to Netflix Entertainmen. (reality would likely stop here) Now just for fun: 2025: Netflix buys CBS, acquires paramount pictures. Park is renamed Paramount’s Kings island.
