Djurs Sommerland is my local park, I just went to London for my first international park (Thorpe Park), where I was shocked to see those ''slides'', I still ride them in Djurs Sommerland quite often, and I do love them. :)

Love Intamin. Rode Volcano the Blast Coaster in the front seat in pouring rain in the Paramount days and yes it hurt but was so much fun. Wow 500th coaster coming up congratulations. I'm about 275, but I enjoy the ride and that's what matters.

These wet/dry slides are actually really common in European parks.

They are indeed, except the one in Bellewaerde Park, that doesn't keep you dry. That one completely soaks you.

Piraten is actually prenounced: Pee-Rah-Ten. German language does it a little differently. Kind of sounds funny when people make it a sort of English version of a German word.

Worst coaster experience I’ve had was The Big One when a surprise hailstorm rolled in (ah, Blackpool in July) but I’m so used to coasters in the passing rain 😂.
