Im super curious: how old are you? You dont seem too much younger than me (i am 18, almost 19) yet you’re impressively well traveled. I can fathom how you manage to afford all this, do you afford it all yourself or do your parents help or what? If youd prefer not to say I understand but its just something that ive always been wondering.

I am Swedish and I remember everyone's confusion when Kolmården decided to build the worlds tallest wooden coaster just beside Delfinexpressen (the dolphin child coaster). I'm very glad they did though because it's such an impressive build and an awesome ride! I love the aesthetic of it and how it merges with the terrain so well.

Well its a bit complicated. Kolmården use to be owned by the municipality. Due to some exonomic legal issues they where basicallt forced to sell it. The only avalible buyer was the company that owned Grönalund and skara. But thet where a theam park company. There also use to be a drive in safari park. But that had to close when a german turist got eaten by a bunch of Wolfs. But they still had all the animals, so that why they made the skyride. If I remeber corecrly the children park was built before the sale of the park.

@@matsv201 When tf did a german tourist get eaten by wolves at Kolmården?
@matsv2014 ай бұрын
@@verdandi5569 well the safari gondola was built in 2011. That was built to replace the drive in safari that was no longer alowed to operate due to all the eating of People. So i guess it had to be 2008 or 2009. Its worth saying that was the second person to be killed in a somewhat short period of time.

Wildfire, along with Zadra, are two of my top bucket list coasters. Wildfire has to be one of the most picturesque coasters on the planet. It certainly is a beautiful coaster -- not only due to its location within the terrain, but due to its structure as well. And it looks incredibly beautiful on ride, too. Wildfire is what Lightning Rod could've been... and SHOULD'VE been.

I hope to go here next year. Out of the three RMCs in Europe, Wildfire always seemed the most special, the way it's integrated into the terrain and looks out over the water. Untamed and Zadra, which I've both ridden, do get more intense and fast-paced towards the end, which I don't think Wildfire does. But Wildfire is a whole lot prettier than either of them.

Yo Marc, the Efteling in the Netherlands just announced that in 2027-2030 they will build the highest ever attraction of the park. Which means it can be 60m tall! Many speculate as there was an coaster planned there prior that there will be an giant new multi launch from Mack, Vekoma or Intamin! Idk if you will see this but always helpfull if you want to have video topics.

I know your channel is focused on coasters but if you want to be really blown away by a zoo and you're doing a coaster trip in the great plains region then I highly recommend the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska. It's the only zoo that I would argue is better than the San Diego Zoo. If you're visiting Adventure Land and Worlds of Fun it isn't too far of a drive. Also, on the other side of midwest if you visit the Columbus Zoo in Ohio you'll be blown away. Plus, they do have a family wooden coaster there.

Of all days why did this vlog get posted today?😭😂 I’m emotional, you guys have killed me💛💛💛But in all seriousness Wildfire looks “fire”, the zoo looks amazing, and oddly enough when I was at Otakon on this very day, I saw a girl in a killer piranha plant cosplay and vendors were selling capybara plush😱The keeper is absolutely correct, they’re the largest rodent and also are part of the family Caviidae. Also a fellow capybara lover Jesiah😄 The bears definitely looked like they were play fighting since there really wasn’t any super aggressive behaviors like teeth displaying, no wounds, etc🐻

The problem was Kolmorden hade a real hard time to get a yes from the town to build the ride, the people who live near the park was sceard the screams should be a destruction for the people who lived near, after many meetings they give the park a yes, but it took 1 year to get all papers to be right and start to build, it was a real messy thing for the park, the dolphin is the towns mascot , The basketball team is called Norrkoping Dolphins.

I was able to cross this one off my bucket list yesterday. The difference between the two halves was noticeable. First few elements among the craziest in any RMC, definitely up there with Zadra. BUT the train almost didn't make it through the last roll and the hill before the last right and left turn. It really felt like it needed a push to make it over, it was so slow. I never heard that in reviews before and i have to say, really took away from the full picture. Still a great coaster though. And so smooth you can ride it all day. We probably got 25 rides in 😂

Should i go to Kolmården or Gröna Lund? I can only go to one park
@CoasterDash Жыл бұрын
That’s a very difficult question that I think comes down to personal preference. We loved Gröna Lund and think that’s the better park between the two. They have a fantastic ride lineup. But Kolmården has the single best ride between both parks (by far). Currently though, two of Gröna Lung’s signature coasters (Jetline & Twister) are closed until further notice, so it may be worth holding off on Gröna Lund until next season instead. :)

I think wildfire is ohne of the best rides in Europe. Unfortunately it is in a Zoo. That means when you are having a great day, a lot of animals suffer right next to you. Only living in the wild is the right place for an Animal. There is a lot of scientific research that supports this. Hope you enjoy all other parks on your trip. ;)

There are many species now reintroduced into the wild that would be extinct if it wasn’t for zoos. Times have changed and many zoos have changed too. Here in the UK, certain species are no longer allowed to be held in zoos, once the existing populations have died out, for different reasons: (elephants, because they are wandering not territorial; raccoons and raccoon dogs, because they are potential predators to indigenous species). Is it better for people in Sweden to see capybaras in Sweden than for them all to fly to South America to see them? Should domestic cats and dogs be released into the wild? Obviously I’m being rhetorical. Zoos have their place. There are bad zoos and good zoos. I will go to some and not others. One example: I was in Atlanta last week for a conference. Obviously I took a detour to Fun Spot to ride Arie Force One. I didn’t go to Georgia Aquarium because they keep dolphins in captivity. Last year I was at a conference in San Antonio and went to Six Flags Fiesta but didn’t go to Sea World (because dolphins, orcas).
