One of the smoothest riding coasters I’ve ever been on. And the seats are incredibly comfortable. I rode it three times just to lay back and relax on the lift hill. And don’t underestimate it’s size. It’s surprisingly thrilling.

This ride is awesome! We went to Dollywood on Friday and this was the only coaster I was willing to do. I counted how long the ride was from start to finish and this ride is only 45 seconds long! But the track is pretty long and you go super fast! One of the workers told us that 3 year olds could ride that ride since you had to be 38 inches or taller but I would not put my 3 year old on that ride!😂😂

Sometimes coasters look slower on video. They also tend to speed up throughout the day, and run somewhat slow if they are new.

My son rode The Rattler at Fiesta Texas when he was 8 years old. It compares more to The Rattler in thrills and out of your seat moments. It's not as fast as Lightening Rod, but it's intense. He is a coaster lover and wants to get his engineering degree in hopes to design coasters for his career.

I've never been on wild eagle but if you want to feel like your an eagle flying to the sky with longer drops corkscrew do wild eagle but if you want to get over your fear and have a very solid fast fun family ride you may prefer this

Not really. Wait times were about half that of Wild Eagle and Lightning Rod when I was there. 10-15 mins according to the screens around the park with ride times.
