Troika HD off-ride Selva Magica, Mexico Mágica México

These HUSS Troika rides were manufactured in the 1970s, but are very familiar to many Americans due to the large amount of them operating at parks throughout the USA. Cedar Point, Kings Island, Elitch Gardens, Kings Dominion, Six Flags Great America, and Six Flags Over Texas are a few of the major parks that still have them and many others, like Darien Lake, Six Flags New Orleans, California's Great America, Six Flags AstroWorld, and Six Flags Great Adventure, had one for many years.

The operator is running this cycle manually. I used to work on the one at Kings Island. The automatic cycle is timed and starts and runs only one way. But all the elements, center spin, arm lift and gyro, are available on the control panel and the cycle can be run customized and for as long as you want. I don't know how they had the gyros going backwards for a little bit in the beginning though. I don't remember being able to do that. And the ending is really weird. The operators had to manually stop some of the gyros from spinning. Honestly, I think it is in serious need of a repair here. Anyway, I hope that helps you all understand this a little better.

The gyro still spinning at the end and spinning backward at the beginning is only due to unbalanced weight. Heavier people or single riders can do that. Same thing happened with the Huss Break Dance I used to work on.

The ride cycle is WAY ROO LONG. It's also being run in a maintenance mode. This is NOT the right way to operate a flat ride. The ride operator is overriding the program for no reason.
