Co0L love videos like this. I daily a 2008 LNF here in Canada ehhhh. I will never do that timing chain i'm not smart enough to do it. I can probably take it apart although in the car that is tiiiiiight so screw that. The only motor I ever took apart was my 3.8 sII from my Camaro. It had a bad lifter the roller part was all destroyed and it wiped out the cam. The cylinders had some bad scoring too so she went to the junk yard. I had a LNF before this one too that had a bad head gasket. It would build up pressure in the coolant system and eventually dump dex out the overflow and all over my tire and brakes. Burnt dex mmmmm yum. I got a ride in a stage 1 lsj I think it was. It totally ripped and sounded very cool. I also learned don't let water sit on the LNF it made it all the way to the plugs and rusted them to shit and I had misfires out the ass. Also needed 2 new coils. Lesson learned the engine stays dirty now lol.

U dont need to remove the sprocket to get the chain off u can just remove tensioner then its loose enough to take it off. Or sense u taking the engine apart just take the camshaft off leave the sprocket on

Hi I have a Cobalt 2007 supercharged. But engine is failing now.. wanna get a turbo one? Need help don’t really know anything about swiping engines. I have an lsj ecotic on right now but need it rebuild. What should I do? Do I need to get another engine and tune it again? Cause it tune on e85 but like I said I want to turbo it
@salvobrothers59283 жыл бұрын
if you get a new engine and keep the same combo you wont have to tune it. to turbo sway it your best getting zzp's kit so it easy but you'll have to tune it after that swap

Hey guys, I'm doing an lsj supercharger build on my 07 Pontiac Solstice 2.4L, and I was wondering what the tiny hose on top of the intake manifold connects to. My guess was the bypass valve on the blower but I'm not 100% sure. Any help would be appreciated.

Is the LSJ an interference engine or not? Those pistons sure don't have cutouts in them but if you search 'LSJ piston' you'll find nothing but images of pistons with cutouts.
