Bro two full room fire knocked down by himself… AND a victim rescue on the same fire before second due is absolutely absurd stat line. He may never beat that in 30 yrs

@joincobbfire do you not require at least 2 firefighters to go in together when entering the structure?
@JoinCobbFire18 күн бұрын
Yes his Lieutenant did go in with him in this rescue
@Allboozedup17 күн бұрын
@JoinCobbFire I just wasn't sure because what he was saying in the interview is that his lieutenant told him to enter the structure alone even though he (the lieutenant) was still in middle of gearing up. That's why I was asking.

@@AllboozedupSo disappointed with your comment that this rookie and his Lt acted inappropriately. There is a phrase that is more appropriate regarding the actions of this crew, we will risk a lot to save a lot. Given the information that was available, the change in tactics from fire attack to rescue mode by the Lt this crew acted appropriately, took limited risk and made an outstanding rescue.

@davekeefer2304 I don't think for 1 second that they did anything stupid/wrong I am no firefighter. I was just trying to get some clarity on their policy of going into an active structure fire alone in case something bad happens to you you won't be able to tell someone you are in trouble. I just understood (wrong) what's a firefighter was saying in his interview sounded like he was told to go in alone. That is the only reason why I asked. I just want to leave off I have tremendous amounts of respect for all firefighters ESPECIALLY VOLUNTEER!!! WHO RISKED YOUR LIFE FOR OTHERS
