Pardon my tears as I listen and watch these magnificent young women and men perform this beautiful carol. They are wonderful in their music; wonderful in the persons; wonderful and loving human beings who also perform magnificent music for us all to hear. Yes, I love them with all of my heart.

I really do miss going to these concerts. You can't imagine what it is like to be in in front of this many talented kids, and surrounded by a few thousand, also talented audience members. What the sopranos do from 2:20 to the end alone made the 1,200 mile round trip worth it. I've been a richer man for it.

Oh, man, me too. Such an experience. I was invited to some faculty/staff dinners back in the day, and at the end of the dinner they sing Soli Deo Gloria, the alma mater. You look around and the faculty are singing their hearts out, and they really mean it. A special place.
