Installed a new fuel injector and installed the Cobra FI2000 fuel controller. steps on how to install both. fuel injector install on a Vtwin engine

Hey thanks for making the vid ! After a bunch of work I did recently on my 2006 S Boulevard C50T, I put everything together and shes bucking and coughing a little, so I decided to swap out the fuel pump and injectors. Waiting for them to arrive still. But your vid helped a lot !

Hope it helped. Also make sure the air box is on tight. Sucking unfiltered air will create this also

Yeah, I'm getting ready to have to check my fuel injectors. Thank you for sharing. Just put a new pump in thinking that was the problem but still no start after new pump and it's pumping great. You think it's my injectors. 3k miles on it and been sitting in a garage for a few years.

Sorry just saw this. Sounds like your fuel pump or also battery not having enough voltage. Check the voltage

How did you get the rubber hose off the fuel rails? I can’t get the clamps off , thanks buddy awesome video

If you mean the breather tube, it should just have 2 hose clams on it then you pull it thru towards the rails. Make sure it’s sealed back good or you will suck in unfiltered air and that will cause lots of running issues. Send a pic if I’m thinking of the wrong thing

@@reillywright5877 I managed to replace mine without taking the clamps off and took a little faith and made sure I did not break anything but I was able to slide the fuel injectors out and replace them without taking off any fuel lines

@@reillywright5877 I still don’t under what clamps you mean. The two bolts on the the fuel rail will strip out very easily though

Hi bro . I actually have a suzuki boulevard c50t 2010 i did debaffle the exhaust for more sound . Then i realise that the fuel consumtin became higher . And some friends told me that i havd to add an injection regulator . Hope to fed me back Sorry for my english it's not my main langage

I did the debaffle before this upgrade and other than some pops I didn’t notice anything else with fuel. Never heard of a injector regulator but adding the fuel processor should fix any issues you are having. Don’t add a KandN filter or do anything to the intake(breather box) or it will cause a lot of fuel issues until you add the processor

@@elmehdiessoufi3606 I ordered mine from eBay. You can also get one from Amazon. It will stop all the decel pops and get your fuel back under control

@@elmehdiessoufi3606 also these bikes normally run lean and can cause blueing on the pipes. The filter will make it more lean due to more air flow thus more fuel usage. Adding the processor will stop this. Let me know if you need any install help

What part of Alabama are you in? I am in Florence. It is the North West corner. I wasn't able to ride because of health issues. Old gas has ruined something. I replaced the fuel pump, didn't fix it. If you are close, what would you charge to change my injectors. It is a 2006 C50T. Everything is stock..

I live in Haleyville. I’m only an hour south. When I do work on bikes I charge 50$ an hour. Normally about a 2 hour job. Plus the 100 mile round trip. Saying that, if your in bad shape I may not charge you at all

Did u change all 4 fuel injectors or does the bike give u a code specific to which FI to replace ?

These bikes only have 2 injectors. 1 for each cylinder. It's a Vtwin. I only changed the 1 bc I broke it off trying to hook up my fuel Processor..

Appreciate it I have a 2003 carb vl800 but I'm about to buy a decently priced 09 with fuel delivery issues so I'm just doing my pre purchase research, I will definitely ask if I have any . As of now the bike starts and runs for a few miles before it cuts off so I'm assuming fuel delivery system

did it make any difference in performance? and did it stop popping on deceleration? i have the same bike, cobra pipe and k&n air filter, pops on decel. was thinking about adding this.

Yes it completely stopped all of the deceleration pops and gave me better mileage and power

Make sure you get the one for just the 09 model!!! It is different from other models. The 09 has it's own controller. 05- to 08 then 10- 15 etc.

That glass oil level port is by far the Dumbest thing on the whole bike. Last owner didn't figure out how to balance and check. Ran it low. So when I bought it with 18k on it, it already needed it's second rebuild. That oil check port is in my opinion, a serious design flaw.

I’m not 100% but as long as it’s FI it should be. The 09 models did change a few things. Depends also on California specs as they say but I can look into it and message to back
