Checking and Cleaning Motorcycle/Car fuel injector without any special tool..simplest method ever!!!

In this video I explained working of an ideal fuel injector and how to check and clean it using a throttle body cleaner...Karizma zmr, Honda cbr250 and KTM duke 200 and 390 has probably same structure of fuel injector and can be checked and cleaned in same manner!!!

I suggest using a 9V battery instead of a 12-14V and also to use a “tapping” method instead of keeping constant voltage to the fuel injector. The solenoid inside can burn out if you “hold” it open. Great video nonetheless

This is awesome! This may save me from having to remove the fuel rails and injectors (I know all 4 seem to be firing, but seem to be possibly working at reduced capacity). I have 2 sets of injectors, too (CBR600RR). Thanks for doing this video!

Good, but you should use reduced voltage, like 9v or less. The injector solenoid is not designed to be held open, rather it's made to pulse on and off, and the wiring of the coil can be damaged with full 12v

Well at high RPMs injector is practically open all the time so no worry..!!

@@powerpulse.motorsports At high rpm, the injector should never reach more than 90% duty cycle, and, it also has a large amount of cool fuel flowing through it to cool it down. The preferred voltage for cleaning is not more than 9v. I have seen several injectors damaged by using this 12v method.

how would you flush the injector to remove the residual the carb cleaning solution after youve finished cleaning? Is there a way to flush the system with petrol without using an aerosol can?

Fuel Injection maintenance is low...Fuel injectors and throttle body has to be cleaned after 20000kms whereas carb has to be cleaned @ 3000kms interval... But injection system repair is high...cuz Programmed injection system has Sensors,Fuel pump,Ecu and fuel injector...So components are costly...But maintenance is almost zero..!!!

U need fuel pump, fuel injector, MAF sensor, Air intake temp sensor, Throttle plate angle sensor, Oil temp sensor, O2 sensor, ECU, ECU remapping tool, throttle body for installing a Fuel injection system....So I suggest keep it carbureted..!!!! Crank Position sensor is already in der which controls ignition and injection timing while rest of the sensors control the injection volume to keep Air/Fuel ratio 14.7:1...!!!

stick to the safe side and just use 9V instead, and hook your wires up to a button switch so the injector isn't receiving voltage constantly to prevent damage. FIs are relatively cheap and easy to replace but I'd rather not replace it if its working in the first place.
