I've always said this, but this reveal solidifies my belief in it: Kreese, while still smart and cunning, embodies the power and strength of a cobra bite. Terry, on the other hand, is the venom within Cobra Kai itself. We've seen good, sometimes noble traits within Kreese in his past. That doesn't make everything that he's done in the present go away, but there's certainly room for a bit of sympathy for the devil. Silver is the closest we've come to pure unapologetic irredeemable evil within this story, barring their shared master.And yes, it can be argued that had Kreese not gone to him in order to rip him from whatever his life had become, all for the purpose of getting revenge against Daniel, maybe Silver would've kept that side of himself masked... But I do think it was masked and hidden away, not dead and buried. Silver is truly a snake in human form. Always has been, always will be. As weird as it is for me to think about, I could actually see Kreese shaking hands with Daniel and Johnny, never as friends, but finally putting everything between them to rest and walking away... Not with Silver. None of them would ever be able to do that with Silver.

The only thing that Carmen scene was missing was Rosa going in her best Burgess Meredith impression 'What're we waitin' fer?' and maybe the Bill Conti bell, loved the Rocky II reference anyway, was more expecting it from Robby and Tory since it felt like Robby was doing the Rocky-esque 'can't fight well until Adrian lifts him up' bit Miguel and Johnny definitely carried the emotional weight of this episode, but Amanda deserves props for bringing the 80s drama back into reality for Kenny and Anthony. Chozen and Kim carried the fun shenaniganry, Kim looks better without the evil supervillain braid though, not mad about the hookup but was liking the idea of Chozen and Kumiko ngl. The Robby/Tory/Zara stuff is a bit iffy, don't think they did anything but still bitch move. Demetri meanwhile has himself to blame, but Sam and Axel, that felt like a rush - he's sheltered maybe but like, you've had like 2 conversations man! But man Silver is back again! Great twist there, of course someone like him would be batshit crazy enough to lure Daniel away and lock him in a dog cage.
