And for a state like California especially but also other states, we go on vacation in our own state. See California is a 10 hour drive from north to south. And about 2 hours from east to west. If you want to visit the whole state as a tourist, to do it Justice you’d have to stay for a month atleast. And that’s JUST California. With you guys, your countries are a lot smaller and closer so it makes sense to visit another country for a few days or a week even, especially bc you have the EU (well not you guys anymore but other Europeans) and you don’t need the international travel stuff that we do.
