How interesting and funny is it that Eli/Hawk getting a haircut was probably one of the emotional scenes of the series. The losing of the mohawk goes their with other iconic scenes like: - Miguel falling from the stairs - Johnny telling Miguel about Robby - Hawk breaking Demetri's arm - Demetri beating Hawk in season 2

Sam jumping on the roof is a big change for her. Notice how she felt underwhelmed with Miguel's plan of using the sprinklers and how she's being extra aggressive challenging Daniels philosophy. Personally I liked it but I could see how that can turn off some people.

when it comes to sam, i think it’s important to remember that through all the new stuff she’s learning with johnny, she’s still dealing with the undiagnosed ptsd she’s had since s3 and hasn’t gotten help for it. anger and aggression are both symptoms and i think that’s why her anger is more “i need to be angry/aggressive to keep myself safe” than it is just to be mean. she’s been through a lot and it’s been glossed over for the sake of making other characters look good like tory ( who i love btw but they don’t need to bring down one character to bring another up ).

The first time they said it was the first season when Robby and his friends were looking at the flyer of Cobra Kai. They said it once or twice after that. I think the next time was when Hawk and Moon were arguing about what happened to him and Eli. Then the next season when the young kid with the glasses got his ass kicked and said it when he was explaining what happened. I pay attention to those things don’t judge me 😂

They should have just split up the lessons. One day they each have a lesson with their own students, next time they switch to the other sensei but the same lesson is given as the day before. Then Johnny and Daniel each instill their techniques, all students learn both styles. Seems so simple to resolve but Johnny and Daniel are both so stubborn just like Ali said.
