Season 3 is in the books! What a season finale, the whole house fight, Hawk finally realizing his faults, the whole fight between Kreese, Johnny and Daniel, I just love it.. and of course that ending! Can’t wait for the season 4 reactions.

Clearly, Kreese has PTSD from the Vietnam War. His experiences hardened him and taught him that to survive you have to be brutal and have no mercy. He takes it to an extreme, but for him, it is a valid code to live by.

Originally, the fight in this episode was to occur outside of the house, but on the day of filming, it was raining and so they filmed the fight inside the house they were renting.

Wrong the original plan was at the Daniel dojo but Cov 19 hit and they had to do it at Daniel house they thought it was a little over board for the Cobras to attack at Daniel house but it had to happen for the ending to fit they to make a deal about the All Valley the writers even confirmed this story a fight at the Dojo actually would of made a ton of sense !

Martin Kove is the actor who plays Kreese. Martin Kove's son (Jesse Kove) auditioned for the part of young Kreese, but instead he was cast as the bully/jock we saw in season 3 episode 2.

Demetri is an underrated character. He forgives Hawk instantly when Hawk turns good. How many people would forgive that easily if someone breaks their arm? It shows Demetri's heart and ability to forgive.

Cobra Kai and the Karate Kid have a big part in my heart for several reasons. First, I grew up watching the movies when they first came out and it made a difference in my life with the life lessons and inspirational story. Also, I am Vietnamese and that plays a big role in the story, as I am aware of how the Vietnam War affected many people, especially the U.S. soldiers who went there and came back broken not only in body but in mind and spirit as well. In addition, Karate Kid 2 was filmed in Hawaii, where I grew up and I even saw the filming location as they were filming Karate Kid 2 back in the mid or late 1980s. Moreover, I am a Facebook friend with Traci Toguchi, the actress who played Yuna in Karate Kid 2. Finally, I remember Pat Morita (actor who played Mr. Miyagi) lived in Hawaii during the 1980s and he participated in some local productions and commercials back then. The nostalgia and the connection for me with this franchise is something that resonates with me, so it's my favorite franchise. So glad you all are reacting to the entire franchise. Keep up the good work!

Ali showing up the way she did was perfect. The actor (Ralph Macchio) who plays Daniel LaRusso, said that for years he regretted the way Ali was written off of the Karate Kid movies and made her seem like a bad character in Karate Kid 2. But then Cobra Kai fixed that situation by bringing her back and retroactively made things better by explaining that it was Daniel who lied to Mr. Miyagi about the car and also how Daniel misinterpreted and misunderstood Ali and her friend's relationship.

So, their friendship is not based on mutual respect at the moment, but rather they share a common enemy, so their friendship is superficial for now. But keep watching...

SEASON 3 was amazing! 🙏 Back when the show still felt truly SPECIAL, and that ENDING was beautiful! 😍 SADLY, they’ve continued to backtrack on the growth in future seasons, and that kinda lessens the impact of this beautiful season and ending (facts) because you KNOW they’ll just “break up” again in future seasons. And with how PART 1 of Season 6 ended, it’s almost to the point where it feels like they’re just pissing fans in the face 🤷‍♂️ I write that as a life-long 80’s fan, so it ain’t easy.. I’m looking forwards to PART 2 of Season 6, but we’ll NEVER get back to THIS strong place where we once were, ever again. There’s also way too many side-characters, beginning with Season 4. The simpler times were BETTER - and stronger 🤷‍♂️ The novelty of the show has no doubt worn off, but it’s still enjoyable! 🫶 Thanks for this great watch-along! 🥳

I love watching the Back stories it shows character growth, show ya why people are the way they're today! Kreese was good then he changed during the war it caused him to heartless going forward until he met Johnny then part of his goodness reappeared. But people you watch this show thinking Daniel is the good guy and hero sorry but Daniel isn't the hero in Cobra Kai its actually the kids to be honest Daniel is just a influence on the kids starting with his daughter Sam who he had lets face it since day one brained washed her into thinking his way is the only way and Cobra Kai is evil but we all know its not Cobra Kai its the teacher that's teaching it that makes the kids good or bad. Johnny teaches Cobra Kai and most of his kids would be good sure some would stray just like Robbie who kicked Miguel over a rail the point is Daniel was his teacher. Daniel actually in karate kid was wasn't a good guy his sensei was the hero of K1 and Daniel just took part in it we all make excuses for his action but truth is he targeted Johnny girl and he made sure Johnny was provoked enough to keep them broke up. We all seen it happen with our own two eyes the other cobras became bullies but Johnny was trying to keep his girl there isn't a man worth his salt that wouldn't of done the same thing Johnny did in K1! Now in K2 Daniel became the hero of the story and because of that we all make more excuses for him in Cobra Kai he set in his mind that Cobra Kai is pure evil yet I have doubts about the karate itself its the teacher that make it evil. I think in cobra Kai there are 2 camps team Daniel or Team Johnny , I am team Johnny after hearing both sides of the whole argument its clear to me Daniel was egging on Johnny in K1 he wanted Allie and he got her the sad part is I think Johnny and Allie would of made up and odds are stayed together the chemistry with them was threw the roof even now but there chance was blown because of Daniel actions its pretty clear to me, Now for Cobra Kai you guys know what's happening they're re showing us Karate Kid the difference is we have Tory playing Johnny and Sam playing Daniel two girls point of view but same plot & once again Daniel daughter targeted Tory boyfriend and took him away same thing her father did and it started a war between the two girls. Who started the war ? Sam did who confronted the person ? Tory did at the school. The thing we all have to remember this had nothing to do with Daniel and Johnny beef this was totally Sam upbringing she was taught from day one Cobra Kai was evil from her dad point of view yet its not the whole story but she is a child she didn't know the other side of it until Johnny arrived in her life with Miguel in Cobra Kai. So lets not forget Johnny is Cobra Kai , Miguel is cobra Kai and Hawk is Cobra Kai and Tory is Cobra kai and Robbie is going to be Cobra Kai yet all of them in this show are good if they leave Cobra Kai and join Daniel ? Nah they still same kids just all different upbringings some have it good in life others have its very difficult ! Sam is entitled has been since day one its why she had her daddy car, credit card and dated Kyler, Miguel and Robbie in 3 season of Cobra Kai and when she seen Tory had Miguel she wanted him back before that she was happy with Robbie. No more excuses for Sam the character is not good she is completely grey in this story yet Tory is considered evil because she hates Sam but really for good reasons ask Johnny about his beef with Daniel and why it happen he lost Allie. I am team Tory all the way and once you all see her back story most the girls with ya will be team Tory, just saying one is entitled teen and the other is a teenager forced to be adult in a cruel world that dealt her a really bad hand !
