Just like Johnny Lawrence doesn’t train weakling or loser. Eli was definitely not giving himself enough credit on how strong he was before he became 'Hawk'. When he decided to go to Cobra Kai, he was still given a hard time about his lip. But that didn't stop him, even after Johnny said, "Hey lip, yeah you, the one with the freaky lip, who do you think I'm talking to?" Eli still came back the next day, which Johnny gave him a really hard time about it. I think Eli could have easily left that day and never come back again, but he did, because he was strong and wasn't going to give up. I think the 'Hawk' has always lived inside of him, it just took some choice words from Johnny to release the Hawk in full form.

Wrong. Johnny took weak losers into Cobra Kai and forged them into badass fighters. Kreese only recruits already powerful people who can prove they are “worthy” to be in Cobra Kai.

This was different. Johnny needed more students to pay the exorbitant rent his landlord was charging him. Kreese, who had already been given ownership of the dojo by said landlord due to his dislike of Johnny, didn't have to worry about needing more students.

For such a smart guy when it came to Kenny tbh Kreese was pretty stupid he just saw a little small kid and said nah he’s weak he never really cared about training him to be a champion, Silver on the other hand saw what anyone else would see and that’s POTENTIAL, if you train him that young he could become a beast and he did by S5 he was dropping Hawk and Robby
