I hope the season has either more episodes numerically speaking (from 10 to 15/16) or that the 10 episodes last longer as they passed from S1-3 lasting 25min each to S4 extending to 35 on average. 50min episodes would be perfect. Story speaking, I can see Mike Barnes joining Silver while Kreese may join Daniel, Johnny, and Chosen.

S1 episodes were mainly 20 minutes, s2 mainly 30, s3 mixture and 1 40 minute ep, s4 3 40 min eps, hopefully s5 will be mainly 40 min episodes, with a 50 minute episode.

I just joined. Thought I'd share a personal theory I have on Cobra Kai next season. I think in order for Cobra Kai to continue as a series it needs to grow and change with the audience. I have a feeling that it will take a dark turn. Stingray will succumb to his injuries and die, this will force the police to investigate as you can't put Kreese in prison based on the words of a deadman without proof. They will go through great lenghts, and they will find street cam footage showing that it was only Silver who went to the dojo around the time that Stringray was assaulted and that there was no video evidence of it being Kreese. Kreese will be paid reparations for his wrongful imprisonment and he will use this monetary amount to hire a lawyer to further sue Silver for framing him. Silver will have to pay out a large sum of hush money and Kreese will take back Cobra Kai. This time though Kreese will have money he never had before, and goons for hire under his wing from his time in prison. He will form a gang. Miguel may have to resort to reaching back out to his father who has criminal (and possibly cartel) connections to deal with Kreese, and the story can go from there. What are your thoughts?

Yeah, I think that Barnes wasn't part of the trailer for the same reason Luke wasn't part of the marketing campaign of The Force Awakens. I thinl that Barnes real role is going to be in S6.

I think he will show up before the end, otherwise they wouldn't have teased the photo. He might not be in the first episode, but he will show up sometime before the end. They just don't want to spoil what role he will play is my guess.

Theory: this time they will have an internal tournament team fight 5vs5 Miyagi do vs ck only! Winner takes all just like in the karate tiger 4 movie best of the best. Also I think Daniel ends up in hospital thats why Johnny and chozen fight against all the senseis before they fight silver. But Daniel doesn't go home after hospital but comes back with julie in the cliffhanger when they are all in the dojo . Even Amanda is there. So she will walk up right after Daniel. So it's hard to tell on which side Mike will be and who is end game in s.6 Silver against all or all against Mike and kreese maybe. Also we saw chozen has to fight different senseis and maybe the deal is if he beats them all they can't join ck. Silver might challenge all the other dojos and if he beats them he takes their dojo. That's again like in karate tiger 1 with van dame. I still wonder why Amanda wants to take over maybe because she really knows more about Silver than we think and that's protecting Daniel. I mean Amanda is giving him even Applaus. I think the judges in Miyagi do are there to take the test so they can have their belts. We saw Robbys fights Miguel again and I think just before he kicks him down the stairs he stops and they shake hand and become brothers finally. P.s their was even a Korean guy with an eye patch. Haha just like in karate tiger 4 again 🤣 And he'll yeah its Barnes who is in jail fighting with kreese. Slow down and watch you can see him clearly from the back. It's him no doubt so that leaves only julie in the cliffhanger
