The show offers a fresh perspective on the "Miyagi-verse" through Johnny's eyes. It explores the consequences of unresolved conflict and the complexities of good versus bad. While Johnny and Daniel remain the central characters, the series also features a talented young cast including Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, and Jacob Bertrand. Familiar faces from the Karate Kid films, like Martin Kove and Thomas Ian Griffith, also return.

Another theory I have is that Mike joining Kreese and Silver in Cobra Kai was his ticket for the Sekai Taikai qualifications but when Cobra Kai's cheating history got leaked to the public, Mike's spot of hoping to even go compete got canceled at the last minute.

COBRA KAI NATION: This is a great theory. I’ve basically been saying the same thing as well. It just makes sense to have Barns train the students in Miyagi Do because he’s the only one with National Tournament experience. Daniel & Johnny have never competed Nationally and Chozen fights for life (like Mr. Miyagi) so bringing in Mike Barns makes a lot of sense story wise especially when Daniel and Johnny look at the rules & realize how different it’s going to be from the All Valley. That maybe what gets Daniel to reach out to Barns again and ask him for his help.

I have notice that all previous Cobra Kai's seasons are now back on KZbin where it all began. They've been putting recaps of seasons since 3 days ago like a reverse countdown of the seasons. I think it is part of their mega marketing strategy.. I think the new trailer is coming soon. Maybe Friday June 14Th.

My biggest theory is that we are going to be seeing a flashback of Mike's national champion status and many dojos are actually scouting him to represent them for the Sekai Taikai and it is brilliantly perfect that Cobra Kai's shutdown in 1985 after losing to Daniel was the reason that he got banned. The scouts that took an interest in him must have reported that Mike was actively bullying Daniel in the 1985 All Valley.

Definitely Mike comes back for legal issues like Silver burned down the furniture store and Mike's In Laws filed a lawsuit against Silver. And Mike becomes one of Miyagi-Do/Eagle Fang senseis for his past tournament experience.

They should put them in warm up tournaments leading to the Sakai Takia. Like maybe a few national ones. Maybe a few international ones that aren't quit as big. If I was hosting a world karate tournament I would want my competing dojo's to be active.

I still go with a big Mike twist! Surly he was blackmailed by silver to hijack the limousine. So we have to see for how long he was playing Daniel and Chozen 😮 so he could as well be a bigger enemy and maybe he was working with kreese all along as well😅 he could bring in his own dojo: bad boy karate 😂😂 or he will just join Daniel because I think everyone will join to bring down the kim clan and CK in the end😊 even kreese and silver P.s. and yes he still has that contract because that was a lie!!!

This video is mere speculation based on the presumption that Mike Barnes will side with Daniel and Johnny in season 6. If such is the case, it will be an UNEVEN playing field where 4 senseis ( Daniel, Johnny, Chozen, Mike ) shall battle against 2 ( Kreese, Kim ). Either Barnes turns bad and joins Cobra Kai OR Hector Salazar returns to form an alliance with Kreese, Kim and an evil Julie Pierce as the deadly ex wife of Terry Silver aka LADY SILVER.

This is cool and all but I think they missed and opportunity with Bobby brown and his story. He seemed remorseful towards Daniel and he had his own complex relationship with kreese and maybe he may have vaguely remembered terry silver 🤔💭 it's a lot to explore

Mike Barnes wouldn't know anything about the Sekai Taikai. I believe that if they want to know more about the Sekai Taikai, they will have to learn more about the Sekai Taikai on their own. Let' see what happens. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. Maybe Terry Silver has a part to play. MAybe Terry Silver is going to become suspicious of their plan to know more about the Sekai Taikai and he will destroy the evidence about the Sekai Taikai.

Barnes barely did anything in the last season. Small, nothing fight with Chozen, and then gets knocked out by Silver's goons. Only to do a superman punch that missed completely 98 hours later. Hope they can give him something more to do.
