Would have loved to see you hit the CBs, they are the perfect middle, I just got fitted for 5-9 in CB and PW+GW in the MB, the feel is incredible with Modus 120.

Interestingly enough we were only given demos of king tour and MB. I would have loved to have hit the CB, but I actually like the lofts in the short irons in the king tour better than the CB or MB.

Feel like a massive thing that seems to get totally forgotten in iron reviews is playability. So we all take for granted that the guy who is wanting an MB or blade and good enough to find the middle more often than not, is using this format of iron to be able to utilise shot shaping to a greater degree than the rest of us. So why don't we test this in reviews? Not criticising anyone in particular as nobody actually seems to do this across the Internet. But wouldn't it be more interesting to see the reviewer set themselves actual targets and show just how much they can shape e.g. a blade vs a cavity back or game improvement iron? With the reduction of spin in the modern golf ball, the ability to shape shots left/right or high/low is imperative for most golfers of an advance h/cap. Am I crazy??

I think that’s a great point and there are really only 2 reasons why better players play blades. 1. More spin and 2. Less offset. Maybe I should make a video and elaborate on this topic. Thanks for the tip.

I was for about 30 seconds and then remembered why I moved away from steel. I can hit them in a sim, but the stop/start nature of golf and the forgiveness of graphite is too hard to give up.
