@SydneyGolfTech2 күн бұрын
@@marioncriswell2971 in all honesty, if the S feels soft, then try the X. Usually a ballpark speed would be about 105 where that happens. I’m around that mark but I’m not particularly aggressive in transition so I always play stiff rather than X.

Unfortunately, all these videos prove to be basically useless to the average golfer. What we really need to do is find somebody who is a very low handicap and swings in your swing speed range. They should have videos like this set up where one guy has a swing speed of 70-80 mph, another at 80-90 mph, another at 90-100 mph, another at 100-110 mph, and maybe another at 110-120. Players need to find a guy with a similar swing speed so that the assessments will get them in a more useful ballpark for themselves. A guy who swings 82 mph with a driver is not gonna gain any information from this video from someone swinging with over 110 mph. I have this complaint with everyone who puts up these type of videos because I feel strongly that the player needs to find someone in their range in order to get some useful information. If there could be a series of videos where you list the swing speed range in the title, that will help people very much get better information for themselves. Just a thought. I’m a 1 handicap by the way, so this isn’t coming from some weekend hack. Just someone who’s always seeking out information and I think this is a much better way of doing it.

I know this was an exercise, but he did weigh the grips with the plastic still on them. Not a major gaff, but I noticed. I also do not understand why he would bring all the clubs UP to the 5.6, unless thats what the player requested. Seems very high for a full set of irons swing weight.
@SydneyGolfTechАй бұрын
@@khemheru1439 the tiny piece of plastic on the end of the grip makes no difference to the swing weight on an electronic scale, that’s how irrelevant it is. Also, we always bring swing weights up to the heaviest swing weight as there is no way to reduce swing weight other than drilling out heads. Adding weight to the butt end to try and reduce a swing weight is poor practice and we don’t do it.
