Good job mate - you might already be aware but you can get this stuff its a green liquid in a clear bottle called “fuel doctor” Theres explanatory / review videos on youtube It’s about 40 bucks Australian for a litre and if I give my machines a solid dose in the fuel tank they get through winter with no issues. They also use it in diesels to break up and water and fungus in the mining industry and its suitable for fuel as well. Maybe have a look at that. You don’t need much 20 or 30 mil for a lawnmower is heaps……… Might be handy info for yourself or for your viewers……. all the best from Melbourne Australia

Great stuff Mick, I've learned a lot from you, thanks. I use fuel preserver by Briggs & Stratton in my mower fuel and I fitted a fuel shut off valve so I can burn off all the fuel in the carb when I'm done with it. No problems anymore after sitting for 6 months in my damp shed with temperatures down to minus 10 degrees C. Get well soon matey.
