Its ironic that even though I grew up in the 80's and listened to all of the influencial metal acts, I don't see Cobra Spell as nostalgic 80's, they just have the proper elements of good songwriting that get me excited and emotional about heavy music. They actually sound very modern and fresh and not stuck in the 80's, but the style of music definitely has the same spirit and excitement as 80's music.
