I really like Axel. Big strong guy with a low tone voice with that type of accent. He is like a more modern version of Ivan Drago from Rocky IV. He was a really nice guy (at least around Samantha), nevertheless, he did act in a hostile manner around Miguel as he knew Miguel was Samantha’s boyfriend. I’m glad his character didn’t die though. I suspected that Kwon would be the one dying. He (Kwon) was very arrogant, cocky, and egotistic. Axel seemed to be more humble. I believe the scene that showed his sensei attacking him during a practice sparring session was intended to make Axel not seem like such a bad guy.

From a scale from 0-10, I would judge it like this (its only guessing): All kids (Kwon, Robby, Sam, Tory, Miguel, Hawk, Demetri, Yoon, etc.): Punching power: 4-7 Kicking power: 6-10 (Kwon a 10) Speed/agility: 6-10 (Kwon a 10) Durability/chin (taking a punch/kick): 4-8 (Miguel has 8) Offensive: 5-10 (Kwon, Miguel, Zara and Tory have a 10) Defensive: 5-10 (Robby and Sam have a 10) Axel: Punching power: 10 Kicking power: 10 Speed/agility: 5 Durability: 10 Offensive: 10 Defensive: 10 Axel s only weakness is his speed and agility. But in all other categories he is a monster. No other kid has punching power or durability. Somehow I have the feeling Miguel and Robby have to team up to beat Axel. Means one fights him first and hurt his legs or so, the other fights him when he is already injured. Same with Zara. Maybe Sam and Tory have to team up to beat her too. But I still would like to see Sam vs Zara. Tory was able to kick her down once, but overall Zara had the upperhand.

I don't know if this was intentional, but yesterday I thought about the scene and Kwon's tragic demise being the polar opposite of Cobra Kai's teachings. Daniel shows FEAR for Kwon after seeing the Eugongdo in his hand, Kwon experiences horrible PAIN after the knife impails his heart (even more ironic considering how Kreese taught him to be heartless), and lastly, Kwon is DEFEATED by Axel, and sadly, this defeat is everlasting. 😢

I kind of see it from the viewpoint that this wasn’t Kwon’s or Axel’s fault but the adults in the room. Wolf physical abuse towards training Axel and Kreese’s brainwashing of showing no mercy when it came to Kwon. Thing we have to remember here is that Kwon and Axel along with majority of the students in the Sekai Tekai are all no older than 18 (probably 16-18) and the kids are so easily impressionable.

Concerning Kwon’s Death imagine this for a second….. In part 3 of season 6 of Cobra Kai end of ep 1 the creators of Cobra 🐍 Kai throw us a massive Curveball and it turns out that Kwon is actually alive in a hospital barely, and the knife just barely missed his chest. Cut to end of ep 1 p3 and Kwon comes to and takes a massive breath. Obviously this is all highly unlikely and there’s pretty much a 99% chance that he’s dead but imagine for a second that he barely survived with an inch of his life he just can’t do Karate ever again idk 🤷‍♂️ it’s something to consider.

Here’s a plot I would have done. I would make Kwon kill Axel. It will show Kwon being the monster that Kreese “made” and that can’t be saved. Kreese will realized what he has done and turn a new leaf (but of course will take time in jail) So who’s going to be rivaling Robby or Miguel if Axel is gone and Kwon is jailed. Maybe this time Johnny takes over Cobra kai again after making “amends” with Kreese. Johnny and Daniel will have slight argument about it but Johnny tells him he wants to beat Daniel “He tells Daniel I will beat you this time” Daniel replys “How”. Johnny says If Cobra Kai wins He had to call Johnny the best sensei of all of the valley. Johnny’s Cobra kai vs Daniel’s Miyagi-do (a friendly but serious competition). Robby tells johnny he wants to stay in Daniel’s Dojo, And Miguel chooses to be with Johnny and becomes their Cobra Kai’s Male Champion with Tori. Both Miguel and Robby have a heart to heart and say what ever happens we are still family but both are determined to win Iron Dragons will still be a problem especially with Zara and “new character” (Wolf and silver tells Gunther the host of Sekai Taikai “you know my student died right, I have the right to bring in another male champion for my team, they agree) A new character arrives and its Axel’s twin brother who also skilled but way more ruthless like kwon. Everyone’s shocked (Im a Miguel bias) Male Champion Robby faces Axel Twin first but loses and gets badly Injured (Very Bad). Miguel vs Axel Twin for the finale. Axel twin tells Miguel that I know you made axel mad before he died. He says “what do you mean” Axel twin says before axel died he called and said he finally found someone he wants to be with but found out you was the boyfriend. He wanted her so bad but he knew you were in the way. He died protecting her. The only where I avenge his death is beating you. Miguel tells him “try me” …… Miguel wins Female Champion Sam makes it to the final. Tori vs Zara. Tori still distracted by Robby’s loss and “permanent” injury by axel’s twin but focuses after seeing Robby supporting her and beats Zara. Sam vs Tori fair and square but heated battle. Both Remembers how they met, (a flashback of all the memories of them fighting and interacting comes) Tori and sam get into a 2-2 shuffle. They both get heart to heart but Sam tells Tori I need to win this for my dad. Sam clutches the win. Miguel is male champion of Cobra Kai and Sam is the female champion of Miyagi-do. The host Gunther Bruan tells them they have to fight each other. But both Cobra Kai and Miyagi Do students comes together (all of them including ones that didn’t participate and one of them has speech “No even though we rep a different name, we are the same dojo, we all have the same sensei’s and we are all family (something cheesy like that) Gunther tells them you all been through alot. You all deserve a spot and first time in history will have two dojos as winners. Everyone’s surprised but celebrates. Robby tells Miguel “thank you and you did a good job” Tori and Sam become friends again. Robby and Tori, Miguel and Sam share a kiss. Miguel and sam tells Axel twin that they are sorry about Axel’s death. Axel twin realized axel would have accepted the loss and forgiven them. Silver and wolf gets angry (they tried to start a brawl but everyone is not about it because you know why lol. Silver tries to kill Daniel using the weapon that got axel killed but kreese sacrifices himself and tells him his sorry. Silver runs and both Johnny and Daniel follows. Wolf steps in but gets into a fight with Chozen and Kim. Chozen and Kim while fighting confesses their love for each other. Wolf gets KO’ed. Johnny and Daniel flash back happens with all their interactions. But instead of fighting each other they help fight their common enemy. They beat Silver to blink of death. Johnny wants to kill him but realized his not killer. Police show up and take silver away. Kreese is alive but in serious condition. We see a fast forward. Johnny visits him with his new born daughter and tells her this is your grandpa. Kreese cries….. more stories about other characters revealed. We see Kenny in Cobra Kai and Anthony in Miyagi Do preparing for the All Valley Championships.

There’s no way Axel saw the knife mainly cause Kwon put it reverse grip before he charged in now when he charged up that 540 he could’ve caught a glimpse but idk, also I’m still wondering how it’s possible for a knife in reverse grip to puncture Kwons chest the way it did it looks like he tried to break his fall which would make sense at the angle he fell and making it more possible for him to hurt himself but the probability of that shit is one in a million plot driven freak accident

The problem with killing kwon for me is, he was the only kid that was truly a villian. Axel isn’t really a villian he’s just maybe a little bit of a jerk to Robby and Miguel but that’s it.
