Granted I haven't seen too many comments about it recently but I have before.. so just to clarify: This song is NOT easy on drums. Chad Szeliga is a very intricate drummer. More than you may realize. Granted, Cobus is playing his own rendition of the song, I'd like to point out that when Chad played the song, he used a single pedal. For everything. The verses and bridge are all single pedal. Also, he does combinations of the ride, ride bell and hi-hats in the bridge too. And, in the verses, his fills are much more technical then one would first assume. As a huge fan of Chad, and a fan of Cobus, I felt that I had to explain that. Also, on a side note... Breaking Benjamin is back!

Michael Gaffney I read something similar some time ago, that Chad indeed played this track with a single bass pedal. That alone is amazing! I agree that the song is more complex than it may sound. Great news that they're back, didn't know they stopped playing or anything. Can't wait for new material!

Cobus is an amazing drummer. I've been watching him since the start of KZbin and has been following him very closely along my drumming journey these few years. The Diary Of Jane is also one of my favorites that I've always wanted to play as a beginner but found a lot of trouble doing it. Now, I've came up with a score for this song on my channel to share with the world! The tricks he does, the fills, the intensity...its awesome. Then again, i saw the drum duet and the other guy made him sound like a kid. Hes amazing, but i see why hes still trying to get better and better :)
