Any advise when cocatiel wont came back but stays nearby

I'm not sure if you mean for a free-flyer or a bird who gets out accidentally. Either way, it's a good idea to try and entice them with food and to have other cockatiels with you to encourage them down as well.

Gotta love their little airbrake they make from fanning their tail feathers. Maximum drag in the back to they maintain their balance. Good little aviators.
