My cockatiel Trico likes to serenade his cage buddy, Caboose the Red Rumped Parakeet. Unfortunately Caboose doesn't speak the same language so he just sits perched all awkward-like but waits patiently for it to be over XD Like Trico will be leant right in his face just screaming every song and word he knows over and over.

i think that tiel is so happy to have a friend to talk to such happy sweetybirds they do love the company of other birds sometimes goldfinches comes to the window to talk to my sunshine and cooper and my crow buddy does also that gets them happy and super talkative for hours

🐦 Early in the morning, before the alarm clock wakes me up, it's the melodious sounds of the beautiful birds that wakes me up with a pleasurable feeling. It's the birds melodious sounds that makes my mood feel better and cool. They fly from tree to tree making different types of sounds and getting themselves happy. They also makes my mood feel better and cool. 🐤I opened the windows and peeped through the trees and the flower plants. There, I saw several types of lovely birds and their sweet sounds that gave me a cool relaxation. Birds welcomes the morning and waiting patiently for the sun to rise. They welcome the sun rise by their melodious sounds that is hardly difficult to highlight its natural performance. 🐦 While I was watching the movements of the beautiful birds through the window, suddenly I felt someone touching my shoulder very slowly and softly. In no time I turned back to see who was that. To my surprise I saw my younger sister Sara watching along with me the bird's free movements and then their pleasurable sounds that attracts our attention and relaxations. 🐤If I was a bird, if I had lovely voices, if I had melodious sounds, if I would be able to fly up in the sky, if I can fly from tree to tree, if I can enjoy the tasty fruits as my favourite, if I could soak my body with the rain shower, if I could allow the sun light to make my tiny body feel better, then how happy I would be to live in this world with full of happiness. 🐦 The birds such as Black cap, willow barbler, Chiff choff, Dunnock, Robin, Gold Finch, Black bird, House Sparrow, Chaffinch, Blue Tit, and the Nightingale birds and their Marvellous actions and their pleasing sounds are much more commendable. That poor Fischer Lovebird is like get the hell out of my face...!!! I love Cockatiels as i've owned MANY over the years. And currently own a Senegal and Black Capped Conure. But Cockatiels can be annoyingly loud and incessant with their whistling.

as far as love birds go, they need a partner. Getting just one can be sad for the love bird.

AnaDMTL just wanted to tell you that this information isn't correct because if buy one it will bond more with you but if you buy 2 or more they will bond with each other much more. But if you for example don't have much time on your hands than yes you SHOULD get two or an even number because lovebirds are very social bird you should at least spend 4 hours with one lovebird. I've done my research 😋 And pulse I raised 2 lovebird my self from birth but they died 3 months ago 😞

I've done my research as well. Of course it can live alone, but it won't be the same for the bird. They will feel much happier with a partner since they make a partner for life. It's like saying you can live alone in an island, of course, but it is better to live with someone else. Another human.

AnaDMTL While it is true they need someone to bond with, you do not need a partner for your lovebird. Lovebirds can actually accept a human as their forever partner. Though in some circumstances they might need a bird friend to be happy.
