Cockatiels learning to eat

This time, I'm weaning my cockatiels with a new diet, no seed mixes for birds! Legumes, cereals a veggies, directly from the groceries.
Will they learn it fast?
Never try to fly outside a cockataiel or a parrot without prior intensive training, not just recall indoor.

Ceci, piselli, favino, veccia, lenticchie sono i legumi che uso di più, sempre cotti per bene. Per i cereali in genere farro, orzo, frumento, mais, sorgo, grano saraceno... qualche minuto di solito li faccio bollire per ammorbidirli un po', gli piacciono di più

Hi tiel zone, ive also recently had some fledlings and all but one of them isnt eating on his own, he always begs for food from the parents despite being 12 weeks old now and the parents are starting to ignore him, how can i learn and encourage him to eat on his own?

Hi, you should put the food in different places, not just the feeders the adults normally use. Like, put a bowl on the floor with food, and an extra feeder, and you can put a millet ear, they need to see food in different places so they are encouraged to try
