I thought so as well. I suspect he is a mixed spaniel. The biggest spaniel is a Clumber spaniel. I think he might be part of that. But I also think he still might be a bit chubby for both Clumber and for a Cocker. I can see where the owners might think he's cocker by his hair texture and color since Clumbers are usually white or mostly white with straighter slightly courser hair but still just as thick and sucks up water and mud like a sponge. I posted a link to a site that describes spaniel in case anyone is interested.

So sad. She says you cant do a pet cocker in anything but shaved short. I groom pets and many people like that i can and do their dogs in show cuts. As long as people are willing to do on time scheduling why wouldn't i be willing to groom a dog correctly
