Back in the jumpseat! This time we see the arrival of an SAS Airbus A320-200 OY-KAR into Copenhagen Kastrup Airport (EKCH) on runway 22L. The viewer with a sharp eye and great knowledge will see a few things hinting, how many years ago this was recorded. We do apologize for little rough video, with a few rough cuts during the landing. We tried our best to work with the material we had. We'll promise though that the next cockpit video will be a lot better. And yes read right. There'll be a lot more cockpit videos to come! We still have videos we haven't shown you, and we already have arrangements for more jumpseat trips! And we'll guarantee you'll enjoy those videos a lot more than this one! I have flown in and out of this airport (as a passenger) many times with Scandinavian Airlines from Newark, NJ and Stockholm, Sweden. The approach is spectacular and so is the airport itself! Thanks for the upload! I just wish the plane wouldn't call the pilots retards. :):)

Thanks for the video! I'm glad someone thought about recording the sounds of the cockpit, not just the pilots' voice. Also, I saw two new things (for me): the distance display at the terminal and how the mobile passenger stairs look like (or how you call it). Would like to see a more detailed video about how it's used. Best regards!

The 'mobile passenger stairs' is actually the passenger boarding bridge that connects the aircraft to the terminal gate and is commonly called a jet bridge in the US

Why was the FD Turned off ?

When flying visually you turn them off as it’s a distraction, you’d have you miss3d approach altitude set but the FD will be telling you to climb up to it if you haven’t got approach mode enabled
