I have this a , 'cos - aside from Ms. Francis's rare really 'ronckin' numbers, the original - written by Jeff Barry and Ellie Greenwich (who's doing the back-ups on Ms. Francis's AMAZING version), also has Me. Barry!s incredibly syncopated drum playing. The bizarre thing is this - the Connie Francis version - isn't 'ALLOWED' here. A TERRIFIC song MORE should here. You do them ALL a great honour.

I think Ellie sang harmony and the choruses with Connie. This was, in my opinion, a number 1 in potential, but, here in UK, there was no personal promotion, and air-play was limited by DJs' devotion to tone-deaf groups. Artie Butler on piano, Jeff Barry on drums.
