@@RevsALot I've just ditched 20's for lightweight 18's and saved 16 lbs in each rest wheel ( 2015 ford falcon 4 litre dohc straight six n/a (😭) but it's going so much better for it . Your video proved the point . Are there lightweight harmonic balancers for your car ? They help no doubt 👍 Anyway , great job and thanks for your videos , very entertaining 👍😁🏆

@Not so Gullible yes, lightweight wheels are very over looked as a mod. Lots of ppl will put bigger heavier wheels cause they like the look, and spend a bunch in mods just to lose to a stock vehicle of the same model with lightweight wheels. We can put lightweight crank pulley on the TL, but I'm not doing that.

If you can find a 6MT I'd say go for it, but they are expensive to make fast lol

@@RevsALot Any thoughts on the 6AT 3.7 vs 6MT 3.7? No way I'd get a 3.5 because they're like my Accord and the 6AT 3.7 is like $4,000 cheaper than the 6MT 3.7.

@TheMoistNapkin only downside to the 6AT I'd at 120mph it autoshifts to 6th gear from 4th...still a very fun car though. I actually almost got a 6AT SH-AWD instead of the Q, but then I knew I'd be spending a fortune trying to get it in the 12s haha.

Nice runs 🔥 I got 2013 g37s coupe with intakes, catback, ported plenum, lower ported intake manifold and tied with a 3.0t with just an intake

I like the Q, but my heart belongs to the J series. Great runs and both are amazing cars. NA Honda sounds way better IMO.

I'm thinking custom dual 3", and I'll have to get some catted ldp. Bolt On catbacks would run me almost $3k CAD. I wanted to do borla ataks as the first VR with them, but they would cost me almost $1k for two 3" mufflers. So, I'm still looking around at what universal mufflers to go with.

Not bad for the TL only making 280whp, and I wasn't shifting very fast. We'll try again once I get the Z1 drop in filters for the Q. On a cool night I think the Q might take it though.

Im looking at getting the Rv6 jpipe and getting a precat delete, Any recommendations for catbacks? Rn i just have a muffler delete and i like how it sounds. Any catbacks you recommend that would keep the rasp out and keep it sounding as deep as possible? The sound is really the only thing holding me back from doing it

Custom 3 inch exhaust, rv6 v2 jpipe, no such thing as precat deletes unless in Canada or have them as they’re discontinued hfpc are as close to pcds.

As someone mentioned below pcds are only available in Canada atm. To avoid rasp once you have no cats, you'll definitely need some resonators. Single 3" exit gives the most gains performance wise. Custom catback exhaust is the way to go imo. Cheaper and there's only a cpl bolt on catbacks to chose from.

Because oems rims were ugly af and had winters on them, and it's summer time. Also, I don't want to void warranty, and the exhaust needs to flow better before I get a tune not trying to blow it up by pushing more boost through those tiny pipes. Lightweight wheels are one of the best mods you can do other then DP or tune.

@@RevsALotIf you got the car from Infiniti, they don’t care about mods unless it causes the issues. I have my sisters 2018 Q tuned on ecutek and we had the turbos replaced under warranty for free

@@RevsALot I’m pretty sure Nissan/Infiniti is the same even at different locations. I’m fbo on e85 with my 370z and have warranty until 2028 and had my clutch replaced for free too even if I was abusing it the whole time

It was my buddies first time driving it, so he didn't get much practice. We'll try again soon, going to install some drop in filters first. I'm hoping that makes it door to door.

The Q50 is now my daily. I'm averaging 11.4 L/100km(20.6 MPG) and I don't baby it that's for sure. If I baby it on the highway in Eco mode it'll get 8.5 L/100km(27.6MPG)

Get a heat exchanger first!!! Just with one pull you heat soak the engine. F the other mods get a heat exchanger!!! It will keep your power!

I live in Canada it's only hot a cpl months a year, and I don't want to do mods for the first year that will void warranty.

@RevsALot if you get the AMS heat exchanger, it will not void your warranty infiniti team up with AMS as a factory upgrade along as it's installed at a dealership!

Yes, with just a tune on a stock Q50 a FBO Tuned TL isn't keeping up. Hopefully I'll at least get a JB4 soon until my warranty is up or the car's paid off.
