Coco gives Love Advice

Coco encourages this dude that's going to try asking out a girl he knows soon. My prayer goes out to Taka-san, hopefully things work out for him. There was a time when I was in elementary and I was much more outgoing than I am now. There was this one girl that I'd always be confessing to like every fucking day. It didn't matter where, could be in front of friends, etc. Till the end I don't think she ever cared. I was a little kid so none of that romance stuff really affected me, I don't even remember why I was doing it or what her name was. But in the end, I got her to say that she likes me back. Nothing ever came of it though, because I was a little brain dead piece of shit. Anyway I'd recommend watching the source of this clip, it was her first Fall Guys stream, it's pretty fun to watch even if you don't know any Japanese.
Coco doesn't seem to get that many subbed clips for all the interesting things she says, is what I usually say but recently I've seen more and more Coco stuff pop up in my feed. Though she said in her latest Reddit review that she doesn't get all that many if you take away the Asacoco subs.
If you understand the gist of Japanese, I highly recommend you buy a membership to her channel. She occasionally releases a few goodies such as an ASMR thing and some images, you also get access to her 7 Days to Die server.

Ya know - this isn't especially related to the translated clip at hand, but more this channel as a whole: videos like this really go to show just how down-to-earth Coco is, and - quite honestly - she is one of the most relatable people in Hololive, and without Crippling Depression translating these short little bits of random life wisdom from Coco's streams (since most translator channels tend to go for the meme compilations, Asacoco stuff, etc), we'd never have been able to see it. So, I think I speak for at least some members of the overseas community for Hololive when I say we appreciate it.

I'm currently in a kind of similar situation. I have a girl I like and planned to confess to her when the time comes, but she now hates me because I couldn't do group tasks right. Her close friend also hated me for unknown misunderstandings. Now I can't confess to her anymore, she doesn't even want to listen to what I want to say. If I really want to, I might have to do the same thing what Coco said about that boy, confess, run and never see each other again, knowing that she won't accept someone like me. I'm going to have extremely mixed feelings after that.

I'm glad that she encouraged the person but i think she missed one of the most important things: Just go knowing that you can get rejected and that is fine, the other person may have one or more reasons to reject your offer, sometimes it's better to try to establish a decent bond with the person before confessing (don't know if he did it or not). Know that it's more likely to get rejected if the person knows very little about you

I dont know about blind confession but if you think the person you are interested in has some sort of interest for you, then maybe you could proceed with the confession. Maybe try to build up the relationship from friend to best friend then lastly, going for the final step. Still, some girls adore this kind of bravery and somehow they accept the confession but hey, the chances is too unpredictable lol Anyway thnx for the video. Gotta say, the elementary years are the bravest our mind tend to be. There was even a time when my bratty ass tried using a Seesaw to pick flowers from a tree (it didn’t go well) and going in one of those powerangers costume (for kids) for confessing a girl I thought I liked. Some hopeful part of my young brain thought working “heroically” for a goal is all that is needed. A part of me is thankful that foolish bravery of mine dead, but you can’t help but think back and want to pat young me in his back for going the extra mile.

I kinda disagree with Coco. If a guy has social problems and and got rejected by a girl he has attraction too for years, he will feel so depressed since he sees that it might be his only chance to experience true love. Sure it's brave, but it will drop his self-esteem to the bottom and won't try to confess ever again because of that. That's how I see it atleas.
