Most haitians i meet are very humble, but you are definitely the exception. You don't act humble, but rather arrogant and prideful for a Haitian woman. I doubt your parents raised you to act like this. To tell me that i can't teach you anything is arrogance and everybody can learn something from another, because we as individuals don't know everything. We are not God and only he is all knowing. @@PurpleHazePromost known and liked foods are griot (seasoned fried pork) and diri djon djon (black rice/black mushroom rice) with a sauce like the Haitian lady has with her rice. If you are vegan, then white rice, beans sauce, and legume (lots of veggies that are cooked and mashed together) would be good to have meatless or lalo (similar to spinach). Some people put green papaya in their legume and some don’t. It’s good both ways imo. Oh another popular food is soup joumou, which is a squash/ pumpkin soup that is traditionally made every New Year’s Day.
