@@DCM779 idk, I'm from nyc but I've been to Florida 2 times before but only to Orlando. I might be going to Miami this winter. However, I think there's some Boricuas in Fort Lauderdale because one of my cousins moved there with her boyfriend so I think it would be a great place to find some Puerto Rican influence.

You may have good food but something wrong with the country. Unfortunately the good have to suffer for the bad.

Anybody with sense knows Haitian rice Reigns Supreme. 🎉 was worried about it at first cause, typically, It's a unanimous decision that Haitian rice is the GOAT. So, she could stand to season it a bit more next time. Now, giving that they both had similar things to say about her Haitian rice needing more flavor, it says a lot about our food overall. Haiti, for the win!🎉

Crazy thing is, that Jamacain chef's spots in the DMV are really good. The rice and peas he serves at this restaurant always have that "neutral" taste, so I'm surprised the dish he made had "too much" in the flavoring dept. He clearly just got too cocky when they said competition, lol.
