Dream Outfit [Sky:CotL Animated]

By the time my dream cosmetics arrive, I’m already attached to something else.
This was intended to welcome leaping dancer’s revisit but I didn’t have time to finish it before I took a hiatus back in July. A lot did happen this week huh, it almost feel like going against the hype to post now 💦
This will resonate best with year 3 players but I hope everyone out there can enjoy the humor, or find it relatable in some ways.

This is such a mood. Sky became infinitely more fun when I let go of saving ahead for specific cosmetics and bought whichever cool ones came by. One day I'll get the Gratitude bull mask, but in the meantime I've made peace with not having it. ^-^

it was so fun at first, but the pressure to grin every single day for cosmetics did a lot on my health. :'( just wish I could bring back the fun of exploration from the early days again!

@@caprishy Absolutely. Sky does have a lot of interesting worldbuilding, but lore pieces can only get you so far. The rest of it is largely up to us to fill with our own stories and headcanons, and customization options really help with that kind of creative expression. I adore this playerbase for those exact reasons. You get to see a different take on Sky through a new lens every day.

@@alotltohandle I'm so sorry to hear you say that. If only Sky's world was infinite so there was more to explore forever! Remember that it isn't the cosmetics that make you special. I once met a very fashionable stranger who turned out to be a rude, argumentative, and overbearing person. No amount of fancy capes and masks can cover up a bad friend. The cosmetics are just that: a dress up game to help you express yourself through clothing. But by no means is that a necessity for making friends and enjoying the world of Sky. I hope you can find the fun in it again soon. :,)

I got burnt out during the Moomin season (I grabbed a tail before leaving though) and ended up missing the Wonderland collaboration. It makes me sad because the limited edition curly hair with a ponytail is what my character needs aaagh- I hope the developers will give something similar in the future, like they did with the owl ears (the rabbit ears are quite similar, and you can get them at any time)

For me it's not my first mask but rather my first pendant... you'll pretty much never see me without my Remembrance pendant, at least not for more than a few minutes until I can't take it anymore and have to go put it back on, and I've almost never taken it off since I was a brand new moth.

Recently I found out that you can collect 18-19 candles easily from only 3 locations. • you start from candle boost area (regular it's 8-10 candles from this one location if you collect ALL POSSIBLE WAX, and 11 candles if you was lucky and there's also a black shard, and geyser or grandma) • next location is whatever location with your daily tasks (about 4-6 candles from here) • and finish with all 4 trials included all wax from dawn island (it will be 2-4 candles) It's quite easier than whole candle run through all locations. Especially when you learn all shortcuts from all trials

Second favorite is same Mask, but with Season of Flight Guide Ultimate Pants, Warrior of Love Cape, and Daydream Forester hair/Tinkering Chimesmith hair with Flower Crown. xD hope that's not too complicated to see

I was a moth in season of passage. Looked up which cosmetics I wanted, made a little list, made peace with the fact that it may take many years to get the ones I wanted, especially since some (like the Cannoneer) hadn't even returned yet, all of that...... and then EVERYone I wanted to appear just kind of appeared. One right after another after another. It is an absolute blessing... but my body isn't blessing me, because I have had to run around like a madman candle running ever since I was a moth! Also, I loved the part where you tore the mask off of the bird man. Good to know someone else thinks about his funny shaped head lol

Candle running used to be so stressful for me but now that I have gotten the hang of it, I can comfortably grind for 20 candles everyday which takes me around 3-4 hours. Though I do feel kinda restless afterwards cause i don't really have that many cosmetics to just play around with. Hopefully this will get solved by the time Days of Mischief rolls around

i can relate to this so much even tho i started in enchantment. with the exact same masks. tho admittedly i didnt have to wait nearly as long for the red fox mask since there werent as many spirits lol, it took like a month or something now that theres more cosmetics in the game i feel theres more freedom to just use whatever, but back then there were so few cosmetics almost everyone looked the same: either you were a moth, a cute chibi, or an ikemen who knows all the glitches
