no it wasn't live, it is the case that Ms. Fraser knew exactly what she was doing- like any accomplished musician, she wasn't "making it up as she went along", but she was a surreal poet- her work was as exact, in it's way, as Robin Guthrie's music tracks were.

What's great about this performance is both Guthrie and Raymonde are on guitar. Raymonde plays the main melody while Guthrie does the washes of guitar. 😊
