Cool fact: During the whole fight between Cocytus and the lizardmens, Cocytus never moved once, he is just standing still. But when Zaryusu's sword slip through his fingers, he gains respect to Zaryusu so much that he takes one step backwards, a metaphor of him getting knocked back by Zaryusu's attack.

This moment was amazing because it sounded perfect in both dub and Sub. Dub my favourite cause Ainz just in his head yells out “JUST HOW HORNY DID YOU MAKE THIS CHICK” Remember this as that person being a dude who had the catchphrase “PORN GAMES ARE MY LIFE” yup. It’s amazing

A little detail, maybe, about these Lizardmen Tribes, if they're not assembled they won't last longer and probably they will kill each other again or either become cannibals, because the only one who has knowledge about how to make fish cultivation was Zaryusu Tribe. So the fact that Nazarick "Attacks" then occupied them kinda saving all of them from starvation. A blessing in disguise.

Small but important detail to Cocytus' character. Despite the attack not landing due to his nullification Skill, Cocytus still took a step back in retreat from Zaryusu's last strike. A big show of respect from one warrior to another.

14:22 fun fact details, if you think on "real life" stands point you can say it like that. But from the "game" stand point, the spells ainz use to resurrect him got the drawback of making the target lose some levels. Hence why zaryusu is having a little hard time to talk

i think resurrection takes only 1 level tho... that is why its impossible to ressurect lvl1 NPC/people... because they would turn to dust upon resurrection

It is both. During the transition of Yggdrasil's magic, items, and NPCs to the new world; real life effects came about to make the in game effects work as they should in reality. For the resurrection, that means your body still has to struggle to recover from rigor mortis after revival. Just like how 'cry of the banshie' and 'the goal of all life is death' turned the entire forest battlefield into a desert. It was described in game as destroying all living things in the AOE, and plants are living things, so the transition into reality made it work in a way the game did not simulate.

A cool detail that was not mention in the anime is that when ains use that spell to freeze the lake it was not to humilate the lizard men or anything actually it was a high class spell in ygdrassill and using this tier spell in start means open war meaning if there were any old players with the lizard men they would have come out to attack thus ains now know that lizard men have no help 😊( sorry for such long ass explanation😅)

It's more the anime studios censoring it or having a different direction than being lazy, Overlord does this because it's an anime that needs to feel like this(you can't call studios lazy because animation is an incredibly difficult job, a lazy person can never become an animator XD)

Honestly I understand the reason for the “lizard multiplying scene” was meant to be a way to further emphasize that these are in fact real flesh and blood beings and not game characters. But i still feel like they could’ve completely left that scene out or even just showed their facial expressions with a sound clip in the background so the viewer fully knows exactly what the characters are seeing without them having someone actually animating 2 humanoid lizards in the process of making more of themselves.
