Jesus christ y'all in the replies do _not_ understand what the word "realistic" means. Something that doesn't actually exist in real life can still be realistic. When the word is applied to something that doesn't exist IRL, the word basically means "behaving the way one would expect if it did exist in our reality." For example, zombies not sprinting until later rounds (or even the fact they attack in rounds at all) is NOT realistic, since if zombies did exist there would be no reason for them to behave like that. That in-game behavior is for the sake of gameplay. However, zombies taking the most efficient path to reach you IS realistic since like any creature attempting to catch food, they would try to expend the least amount of energy to do so.

1:35 i actually loved this animation because I had a nightmare once where I was being attacked by zombies and unlike most movies/shows, every time I tried to push them or kick them off, they just bite whatever limb was close enough. Its scary because its realistic; shows how they literally only care about eating you. (and the screams did it justice)

Ok I understand everything else except for virmin 1. The second he ran out of ammo he should of grabbed his knife to try and cut one or both of its front legs. They look thin enough to cut though with a military knife, and a living and disabled Vermin would be much better then dying. Atleast you can crawl away from the disabled one.

Ngl, feels like there’s more gore in the first mission of black ops 3 (at least from memory). They were finally smart and bold enough to put the concept into action and got everything kinda realistic with the zombies going for the closest thing but it just looks like a cloud of tomato sauce and the mouths are inches away when they bite and it’s very abrupt ends when it’s all starts actually happening. Aside from that they’ve done great

Had no idea CoD had introduced death animations. The Vermin and Parasite are pretty brutal and horrific, but Zombie 6 is definitely the worst, to be honest. You try to kick it, the hit lands wrong, and it just starts eating the limb. You pull its head away, and it just turns and starts eating your hand. Only when its close enough to fall on you does it stop eating whatever is closest and just dig in. Zombies doing nothing but biting whatever is closest makes them actually terrifying to witness.
