I think I liked this small detail with the enemy being the closest to being “humanized” with how often they actually talk, act scared in some scenes, playing football. Fun fact about real-life space battles. Guns as we know wouldn't be used. Due to the kick of the gun. In space, you'd really only need to hit a guy once anywhere in the suit for him to die. Do you know what works wonders in space? Shotguns. I can easily see special low-powered shotguns with a widespread and even smaller pellet size being made for space. If you sling enough shit downrange, some of it is bound to hit. Edit: I also love the idea that a hostile coalition is formed in the USA's backyard and the US does nothing till it's too late. Like how tf are these countries that are dependent on the US for imports gonna do anything? Let alone that the US won't just bomb the other nations into submission.

So far, the only used firearm in space was a Rikhter autocannon on Almaz station.

If you have any control over your movement (like a handhold, jetpack, or magnet boots) you can use it to compensate for your weapon's recoil. If you don't, you can't aim your gun anyway. And I'm skeptical about shotguns, at least with extra-small pellets. Spacesuits have thick, tough outer layers to keep them from being pierced by space debris or sharp objects; small pellets might not get through.

I actually find Ghosts to be the best CoD campaign-wise (maaaybe alongside CoD 1 and CoD2 Big Red One), it had less restrictive firefights, vehicle levels weren't on rails, it had self-contained story, and cool b movie like main antagonist. Aaand although it's multiplayer migth suck for online... it was the best for people who enjoyed playing with bots (also Advanced Warfare). Bots were from what I've heard reworked, and they are muuuch more human-like than in something like black ops.

8:29 i really liked Big Red 1 as a kid...... i believe its one of the best single player CODs ever made...........i still remember Brooklyn's death (he was from the Bronx) . i just wish BR1 was on the PC..... so it could of had better graphics (or modern mods that improve the graphics... _Ghosts_ is actually one of my favorite _Call of Duty_ games. It's not on the level of _World at War_ or the first _Modern Warfare,_ but it's still fun. The best thing about it is the down-to-earth gameplay. It isn't over-the-top in absurd combat scenes that feel ripped straight from generic action movies.

@@Fulcrox Let's not forget that it's still a video game, and, as such, the developers and writers are allowed to take liberties regarding in-universe logic. Getting shot in the chest with a high-powered handgun and surviving isn't the craziest thing that has happened in the franchise. As for the space level, something similar to that was planned for _Modern Warfare 2,_ but it was cut because it conflicted with storyline pacing. If the space level had been included in MW2, it would've been praised for being "innovative". But since it was included in an almost universally disliked game, it's mocked and despised-a classic example of throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

I never got into CoD Ghosts because I didn't own it, and just played it a few times when some friends brought it, and recently when a friend invited me to play it on his PS3, the game is fun. Also, back in middle school I had this one friend who was a big fan of CoD Ghosts, he played it religiously and basically had it as his favorite game of all time, sometimes when we ran out of things to talk he would tell me the whole story of the game's campaign, I always found it odd at first but then I just rolled with it.

Man I liked Ghosts. It's cheesy for sure, but I had fun with it and I'm sad because the ending was kind of a cliffhanger. I mean it was waaaaay more interesting than most of the COD campaigns that came after it. Fuck Infinite. Fuck Blops 3. Press F to say fuck the Kevin Spacey one. All boring and totally forgettable (except that one scene ofc). I kinda liked the WW2 CoD, but it was a bummer to play because I love 1, UO, 2, 3 and even the wonk ass PS2 CoD and it felt very "WW2 game by corporate committee" compared to those games. As stupid as Ghosts is, it was at least pretty damned memorable lol. I might even like it better than MW3.

To add, I think it's crazy that people like me used to actually buy CoD entirely for the campaign and now they don't even have a campaign in some of the modern games. When they do it's utter shit. Man, planting the flag on the Reichstag was fucking epic. Hiding amongst the dead bodies as they got mown by machine gun fire was nuts. Put some respect on this shit: Going fucking Dark. All of MW2 was a fever dream. Those campaigns were made with love and were meant to sell copies to people who don't give a crap about multiplayer. Nowadays, who would pay full price to play a CoD campaign? One of the more recent ones (can't even remember the name offhand, Cold War maybe?) was decent, but I'd still feel burned if I paid 70 bucks for it. I didn't feel burned by paying 50 or 60 for Ghosts campaign. I even played the multiplayer in it, which was just added value because I usually don't.

Ngl, I... Really liked this game. The story was awful, but I thought the enemy faction seemed cool at the time. I got tired of Russians, Chinese, and Middle eastern nations. The south American empire thing was completely illogical, but pretty fun. EDIT Also the character customization in MP was SO FUN and I'm super upset it never returned

I remember when I buy this game when it came out, I play it for a Month and then I go back to Black Ops 2. I remember people saying this game was close enough to make CoD die. I don't think was that point, but surely the Multi-player was Broken.
