What makes u believe that you're not a good survival player ...I mean alone the time it took u to find out all the spawns and methods and to develop the right strategies for the right time ...props to u ... of course it doesn't seem to be challenging with spawntraps and exploiting a glitch to avoid enemies but you're probably the first person who's ever done it that way and for the effort and dedication and knowledge I'd consider u a pretty good survival player... be proud of yourself for that

On Resistance the soldier can take a lot of punishment, and the bomber-dogs can only take him down if he's already injured, or if there are more than one explosions in a sequence. Then, of course, he goes down, like he did in fact during the game.

Survival mode of this game was and still is the best for me. Remembered it playing on my own, then split screen with my cousins, friends. Then I got married and forgot about this game for about 6 years. And just recently and by accident I found this game on a shelf, bought it for £1 and now feeling happy playing split screen with my sons.

COD: MW3 was my very first action video game, so it will be memorable for ever. I got into gaming by accident, never did care much for it (still don't), but this game has brought a lot of excitement to me, so yes, I still play it because it's a lot of fun, especially the Survival game mode. And somehow I've got a funny feeling that people will be playing it even decades after its release, because it is just a great game overall. :)

I know that this is nearly 6 years late, but some general tips that weren't mentioned (I think): M60 as the "heavy" MG MG36 as the "fast reload" MG Don't put claymores, C4 etc near you or the sentry guns as you/sentries can get hurt Listen for the attack heli's recognisable sound of its guns being spun up so you know when to hide Make sure you have self revive Predator missile is a one hit kill on normal and riot juggies, and heavily damages the "heavy" juggies Predator missile is cheap - $2,500 MGs are $7,000 Sleight of hand is $5,000 Once normal enemies start using FADs, their weapon doesn't change I don't think there will ever be more than 3 juggies at a time

You can survive the suicide-dog on THIS map, maybe because it's an "easy" difficulty map, but I've also noticed that on some of the others the bomb-dogs can take down the soldier.

I hate I just discovered this. I came back to reminisce before the "modern warfare" reboot and stumbled upon ur video. I must say this was very entertaining and brilliant. My cousin and I used to always set up both sentry guns and call the riot teams to handle the heavies, but that would only get us so far. ​@@mrgclips Actually, I've found they are more vulnerable when you slow down your fire rate (short burst) no matter the weapon. It allows the damage to catch up. I've played the same Juggy levels and never ran out of bullets firing in short burst with brief pauses in between. In fact, I have enough bullets left over for the next 1 - 2 levels. Also, placement of the spawn kill C4 seems to be crucial. I use C4, but auto-trigger them with Claymores (1 - 2). It saves on C4 and automatically times the explosion so you don't have to.

Hadn't played it for years and came back just today, played survival in this map and was at wave 40 or higher, had 830 dollars and was chased by two quick juggernauts and one heavy with riot, they chased me for about 3 minutes until I said fuck it and bout ammo because I had NO ammo, tried to shoot them but them crazy busters shoot me the moment I was in their eye sight and I did not had a chance of shooting them back, with no shield, no explosives and a machine gun with 400 bullets and grip(the first machine gun you can have, I'm not sure if it's the weakest but whatever) I said fuck it, turned around and started spraying one of them in the head, too bad the other one went behind me and the second I killed one of the fast ones, the other one shoot the living shit outta me and killed me, throughout this whole process I almost shit myself every damn second I turned around to try shoot them... The stress burned 10 years out of my life

@Skelook - Actually I DID play 11 hours non-stop! But that's just part of the story, because right after THIS game, like maybe 15-30 minutes later (I don't remember exactly) I've also played a second one that I stopped at Wave-100, because I wanted to be absolutely sure the strategy worked! So, in the end, I have actually played a total of 20 HOURS in the 2 games that day (!!!), and I have played BOTH of them without stopping! BUT, after that I got VERY SICK! I had heart-rhythm problems, blood-pressure issues, serious headaches, vision and balance problems, etc, so I do NOT recommend playing such extreme lengths to anybody, because it CAN be life-threatening dangerous!

To Iron Jim - I can't reply to you directly, you need to change your settings. But to answer to your question: NO, I did NOT take a break during the first game and played the full 11 hours, then took a very short bathroom break, ate/drink something if I recall correctly, and played for the second time all the way up to wave 100, just to make sure the strategy worked! :D ... yeah, I know, it's totally mental, and I have NO intention of doing it ever again, because that was absolutely crazy, I had depleted all of my energy and suffered from serious headaches, eye pain and other side-effects for days.

Today (01/21/2015), just for a test, I've played this map again. I was at wave 97, killed all enemy and doing the preparation for the Juggie wave, when I got the 'Unrecoverable Direct X error' thing and the game was over. :( ... but that's OK, I just wanted to see if I can still make it to 100, which I'm absolutely certain of that I could have if not for this stupid DirectX Error thing. Anyways, it's been almost 2 years since I've played my Record game, but still enjoyed Survival on Resistance. - Good game, wish Activision didn't screw it up with Ghosts and didn't alienate their fans with the nasty corporate a-hole attitude. Oh, and now, they're banning tons of innocent players on Ghosts for no reason at all! Activision really turned into a completely anti-consumer rip-off operating friggin' dirtbag company. - I highly urge everyone to stay the hell away from anything that's owned by ACTIVISION! Bad company! :(

John Brown - Well, I don't have either, but heard a lot of good things about Modern War and MW2, so I'm pretty sure they were good games. I've had the chance to try out Advanced Warfare, but it was more like a sick, sorry joke of a game! Even during the free trial, most of the advanced game modes were completely empty and the game itself crashed who knows how many times. So I had a very bad experience with it and I think it's just another failed game, some Titanfall wannabe junkyard in a 'makes no sense' way. mrgclips This time (04/22/2015) I decided to record a full wave 100 in a complete game to show an easy going, really just for fun way to play it and finish Wave 100, BUT, AGAIN, at wave 90, at the beginning of the Juggie wave, the game just froze up! Some great tips and a great job overall on the production! For someone that's never used spawn kills your vid certainly makes it clear. Still not convinced I'd like to play that way but good to know in any case. The trick with the juggs at the wall near cars - this isn't something about just that spot. If there is no specific path for enemies to get to you (as defined in the map), the engine reverts to other systems. There's something about hanging out over ledges that makes the engine remember it for routing. Also, if you stay hanging over various ledges, it increases enemy aggression. This sounds negative, until you find yourself waiting for enemies to come at you. For example in the loft camp in decommission, waves can be exceedingly slow, until you realise that just hanging over the ledge near camp ALWAYS makes them come running. Similarly, in black box you can dictate where enemies will congregate simply by hanging out over a particular ledge on side of camp (above bathroom). Very handy when you want to tackle choppers and juggs separately. In outpost, try hanging out over other ledge from half-chopper camp. In many camps especially in high waves (50+), it's optimal to maintain low enemy aggression levels and so if you know what triggers raised aggression, you can avoid it. Even if you hang over a ledge during break between waves, the routing effect is permanent (until you move elsewhere), and the aggression raising diminishes over the space of thirty seconds or so. But during this time, ANY enemy bar choppers can jump into camps that you can only barely reach from first climbing on sentry. This provides a good reason for getting into camp quickly before wave starts, but also to NOT "ready up" as this results in highly aggressive enemies coming at you for longer before they settle down. Something else I feel really compelled to mention - think twice before killing dogs. For each dog that is "coming at you", enemy aggression overall is decreased. If the aggression level gets low enough, juggs freeze in their tracks. Soldiers don't approach you. Soldiers don't plant claymores or chemical pots. They certainly won't throw grenades. Not the only way to freeze juggs. Example: in terminal, use the camp in narrow gap between lifts (glass on either side). Don't shoot the glass overhead. Stay near back wall, and don't shoot any dogs. Juggs will generally freeze until you kill a dog. Choppers don't shoot through glass unless they have committed to shooting you, and then you move so the only way of shooting you is through glass. Very handy to remember in Arkaden. Great to see others still having fun with this most wonderful game. -Glenmcd

Something about this map keeps me coming back and trying to improve on my previous best. Still haven't quite made it to wave 50 but at my age the twitch reflexes aren't quite what they used to be, and those angry puppies give me fits sometimes. We'll leave the actual age out of this, but let's just say I'm eligible for Medicare. :) In any case, my reason for commenting is that I kept having trouble at wave 30 and higher with the juggies and the angry puppies zeroing in on me in the hiding spot by the parking lot wall. I tried edging over farther to the left while perched on the wall by the dumpster, tried different timings for dropping down onto the wrecked car, all to no avail. What finally seems to be working for me is, rather than sitting atop that wall, I stand on top of the blue recycling bin next to the wall until the choppers appear and reach their drop points, then hop over the wall to the hiding spot. Now I just need to do a better job handling the non-juggie waves! Thanks for all of your Survival Mode videos, Mr. G, especially the more recent "hardcore" on this map. More of those to come, I hope?

JUST FOR FUN - Today, 08/19/2015, I've played this map to test the Windows 10 + NVIDIA Driver issues (I experienced a lot of problems and the Win 10 Upgrade pretty much killed GHOSTS, it doesn't work at all.), and see if MW3 was also affected. Anyhow, I played with NO WEAPONS of ANY KIND! :D That's right! I did NOT buy or use any weapon, not fired a single shot, only used my knife, equipment and the Delta/Riot Teams, just to see how far I can go. And I made it to Wave 39! :D That was so funny! Knifing everyone, blowing them up with C4s and Claymores, launching Missile attacks on them, using the Spawn Traps, etc. But in the end I ran out of money completely because I had to use so many equipment and supplies. But it was FUN! I highly recommend playing like this to everyone who wish to test their skills and true survival abilities. Again: NO GUNS AT ALL, not even a single shot from the pistol!!! :D

***** Playing for extremely long times is NOT recommended and in my experience/opinion, is very dangerous to one's health! Take breaks during the game if you have a very long one, get up, walk, stretch, or just do your everyday things and get back to the game when you're done and rested. That is actually the main reason why I don't go to super-high waves any more, because it just takes too long. But all who do, take my advice and have several breaks in-between.

Luckily today's CPUs are so advanced that even a basic mid-range laptop can EASILY play MW3 and other "older" games without a dedicated graphics card. William Smith If you guys play in Co-Op, then the quick-loaders are fine! But in SOLO, super-high waves, the quick loaders DO run out of ammo, that is a 100% guarantee! Couple of times I had to put all 400 (300+100 in magazine) into ONE Juggie, then another 100+ from the other LMG just to take down that single Juggie. Obviously in Co-Op, you guys have double the fire-power, so ammo won't be a problem.
