Laughing at watching him put together that tripod torch, which I also have. It seriously sets up and like 30 seconds hence the laughter. But as always, I love your videos and love watching you pull whatever trailer you have around. I don’t know which trailer I am going to get so seeing you with different ones is helping me and my wife on our choice because we are going to be in full-time. Just out of curiosity out of all the trailers do you have you which one would you suggest if you were to live in one whole time? And it is only me my wife and our 91 pounds ball of, a dog

Living full time with a large dog, I would look at the Teaton x or the AOR Odyssey. They have a larger floor print and are amazing campers.

@@CoddiwompleOverland thank you for the reply and your recommendation. Very much appreciated. Yeah I was kind of thinking along those lines as well because of my grand Cherokee Trailhawk is limited to 6200 pounds of towing capacity.

Looks like all of this was an awesome trip. If we ever make it to the Grand Canyon, we want to experience it like you guys did. Was having a Jeep and a Mission Overland trailer a requirement for this trip? 😜😜😜

No it was not. Just so happens 2 of our friends have missions. Another friend is a sales rep and we had one for 6 months from mission. Thanks for watching

How do you plan these routes. How do you stay on route while in the backcountry (gps, paper maps)?
@CoddiwompleOverland4 ай бұрын
We use several different tools for planning. Trails Offroad, Gaia GPS, Google Maps and OnX. We stay on our route that we have created using Gaia GPS

Amazing places but it would kill me drive 10mph all the time.
@CoddiwompleOverland4 ай бұрын
We don't always drive 10 mph. Depends on the road and scenery.

#1 AZ STRIP 4600 MILES of roads. 396 maintained. Mojave County maintains few. 5 103? 225? Get the map. I like going in from Mesquite. Exit 18 in Gorge loops around north side out down west. Black Rock I90 exit up Black Rock mtn is tough. From top off the back side is rock 🪨 road so leaving via wolf hole mucho better. Toroweap Poverty Oak Grove Mount Dellenbaugh NPS Mokeac Well Tassi Ranch NPS Whitney Pass Cedar Pocket Pakoon Springs Mount Trumbull Hurricane Valley to Colorado City/Zion 80x200 miles. Vermillion Cliff is house rock road and jump up onto that plateau. Bar 10 Ranch Whitmore Canyon is straight south from schoolhouse. Kelly and Twin Point are NPS. Rangers work out of Saint George. Lake Mead NRA and Grand Canyon NP are attached as is Utah BLM Snow Canyon and Dixie. Yeah it is big. Add Zion Bryce Capital Arches Canyonlands La Sals. Henrys. Etc etc.
