Man , like I bought this book and just read it time to time randomly. Very nice book for software development mastery. As you said it is dry, I personally would not read cover to cover. To start I would simply read the chapters that interests me the most and proceed this way maybe finishing it one day.............

You mentioned you went from junior to senior very fast, how would you do that? Books, practice, university education?

Steve said he isn't not going to write Code Complete 3. He believes that despite some aging, the fundamentals of the book are still relevant.

Steve doesn't want to update the book and I dont blame him. I cant even finish writing mine lol
