I remember it was summer in 2009 when I watched this on DVD with my sister. we both cried at the ending but it hits her the most that she couldn't move on for almost 2 days. a week later she had an code geass marathon with her friends from school.

Mariana is a true evil. She is a great Knight and person but also an devil. She and the Emperor "MADE" Lulu and Nanali for Geass(or Code)'s container. And thats why Nanali has some power even she didnt really have geass, but she was born with some power. If you guys have any interest, go find some novel, manga and movie about Code Geass. The whole story is so amazing.

Code Geass was released back in 2006 and R2 in 2008. After all these years, it's been 14 goddamn years but I personally think this is the best anime. From the story, characters and, plot twists everything is so fucking good. Dissapointed that "Code Geass Lelouch of the Ressurection" was an alternate story rather than a continuation after R2 :((((

The movie is just sunrise milking the title, it follows the summary movies that deviated from the the original. Personally prefer to rather have lelouch dead than become the husk he is in there, it just lessened the meaning behind his actions.

I loved this reaction mashup. The dude in the bottom right was legit crying. It made me laugh cuz it made me remember my first time watching the ending. I remember I shed a few tears at the end of this anime but my man let the tears flow😂 wasn’t holding nothing back. Almost as bad as Nunallys crying. I think dude is ganna take a while to recover from that. Once zero popped up everyone’s mind was fuked and they were practically left speechless. Watching this reminded me why code Geass is my favorite anime.

did u guys know that the company that did code geass changed the ending scene? The real ending scene (the one with C.C laying on the hay) shows us part of the driver's face, and we can see that it's Lelouch. Which basically means that Lelouch became immortal. original ending: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJeXpKujrbZ5ZpI P.S. According to the production company, code geass was build with the thought that Lelouch would become immortal in the end. But before airing the last episode, the company thought that its better to "let the viewers decide what ending they want", thus they cut out the part where part of Lelouch face is shown.

You can put the pieces together to reach the conclusion that Lelouch inherited V.V's code through Charles. That's why Nunnally was able to see what his plan was, like on how Lelouch was able to see C.C's past.

I'm not saying that the anime's ending with him "dying" is bad, but there are many hints throughout the series that concludes to Lelouch inheriting VV's code and becoming immortal. For example, how do you explain why Nunnaly was able to "see" the interaction between Leluch and Suzaku etc. when she touched Leluch? Or why Lelouch started to cover his neck after killing his father? or why ..... There are easily many more hints to him becoming immortal
