I think the really best class is rathricy. excellent improvements are the PSP with the ability to upgrade the necessary armor stats to the maximum (for some reason no one remembers about this, but this is a very cool thing for people who, like me, are unlucky enough to get items with maximum values). also, the instant passage of almost all the dungeons is very cool. the WSA disappointed with its complexity, strong players/ donat users will become even stronger and further distance themselves from ordinary players. another disadvantage is if rathricy is cut with an update. then why isn't Genos being touched? for PVM, it has x2 damage against rathricy (using the example of comparing damage with a similar equip). a big minus is that a bunch of dungeons have been added over the past year, but the battle time has not been increased.

So far, there aren't any tier V for accessories. It had come out a while back, but so far, there isn't anything besides the properties that we have. I'm going to wait a bit to see if the devs will add that. It was a bit shocking to be honest that they wouldn't add tiers.

I think the best change is introduction of Rath Job for F2P players to have a chance to stay competitive at weekly instances. Time wish machine headgear release and addition is good too. Worst change is introduction of airship with very high difficulty for semi-high level. Seasoned veteran players also find it hard to clear😢

One of the best is the Dragonfist buffs. It is small. But all throughout, it will pile up. Who knows, maybe they will return someday. For those who didn't know, there was a time where Shura class is undisputed. Then 4th class job is released and no news of them since then. I really hope they do return in pve. 108170 SEA MoF Edit Tears of the tyrant wins in terms of world building. Story wise though, Wills of Alberta is the best. (Sunset lovers is close)

I still remember when people said DF was too unfair. Unfortunately, he can't one shot bosses in legend instances due to the damage cap. If only DF could bypass that so he could be viable. Back when people were boss hunting prior to LB being released, he was so annoying to deal with since he could kill steal so well. I do hope they make DF good again!

Time machine change is the best. Can get the old gachas without having to wait for long rotations. Best QoL change. The worst is the hero classes too over tuned. Almost everyone is playing Rath because it just outshines all the other classes. GM’s should improve the older classes so theres more variety and that all classes can be viable. Keep the essence of the OG Ragnarok and don’t steer it towards something else

SEA One of the worst on update was daily quest on the new map, the ancient, it really consumes time like e.corridor, unlike the eclage and soulhunting daily quest it can be finish in a minute. Best is the devs who think out of the box like collabing and doing the hero class.

Best changes for me are the following: time wish retaining older gachas, open world map on tears of the tyrant and raid button for many of the instances. Worst changes are having lots of hero classes, most classic classes have been overpowered by hero classes imo and most of the time to join a party for weeklies you either have to have a rath or genos. I agree, her attack speed is too slow. She needs some damage over time to deal with the boss damage cap in legend instances too (like Ronin)

best : time wish retaining past gear, Rath class for f20, raid funtion . worse: airship and psr. for f2p, it's a hit or miss finding a random party to finish an instance that was tailor made to stroke whale ego. for psr, it can be done with all f2p but hella long without a true whale doing 90% of the damage. also small stuff but the quest menu interface is abit more confusing than it was in 2022. the layout then was easier to navigate. jin-sama#2818- global.

Im f2p too bro.. but still can survive... even sometimes not reach floor 15 s/ss/sss only reach 12/13... but i least still survive... the key is team work... if u have low dmg u can be dancer/bard/ninja/convert priest to support with simple item

Yes, white star airship is super hard. I've been doing it casually and being the primary DPS and I can barely clear elite 2. It's definitely not easy for F2P players. For other instances, one strong person is enough to carry most things, but WSA is really, really difficult.

best update for me : time wish machine & tears of ancient city map.. the new map gimme old mmo nostalgic feeling where i just wandering around the map catching mount, talk to random npc, read their story, find hidden object, solve puzzles, etc that's why im not watching or reading guides for the new map, i just wanna enjoy it.. while ppl get to lv 15 in 4 days, I'm still lv 12 today 🤣 worse update : ymir switch nerf in void map, i stopped using begeter in void now cz it takes more time without old ymir swith and use rath instead (begeter is more fun than afk rath) another one is still no bapho summer back in time wish both not in the vid but that's it edit : another small thing that i love is the "portal" to tears of ancient city map.. many of them appears in prontera.. why i love it? cz it's reassemble the black hole.. so basically that portal is like a model of a black hole where it appeared the same no matter from what angle we see it. *a hole in 3 dimensions, not a hole we know which is 2 dimensions* SaM#7950

J.A.H.B.#8059 Global, what I liked most about this year was the implementation of the raid button in some instances, the new map is great, some job fixes, the new timemachine is great. What I liked least, they didn't make it more friendly to get relics in void, a whole year without making progress, some hero jobs weren't good at all, the exaggerated increase in prices on exchange, and some materials don't go up in the same way, example new mvp material for tier 1-5 armor and shoes versus the same Niffelheim mvp and Arcangeling drop materials.

I didn't like void either since the drop rate is really bad. I heard people with similar experiences, where they do void all the time but can't seem to get any ultimate relic drops or anything good. Yes, the raid features have helped a lot to save time :)

TavoNova#2294, EU server. I hate the EC update was fun for a few week but it really is time consuming. Kinda wish they either allow raid on it or make it easier to do faster.

I agree, last time I asked the devs in the interview if we could raid it out, but they didn't really address it. Maybe if they reduced it to 5 floors or less it would be better.

Say for F2P and seeking-challenges-player myself. The best is new instances. It's shown that they try to lead the game direction to something new. Not only "good gear good pay, win all" game. The worst is Ratgricy. After she introduce, the game fell lack of diversity. It's become Rathgricy this Rathgricy that. And it's boring.

roronoa_zoro0055 SEA the release of hero class Rathgricy was definitely the best update this year for me. I was able to be more effective in legend runs and not relying to much on runners. The worst update for me is the Airship instance. It's level of difficulty is quite unreasonable. I hope they adjust the difficulty atleast on lower levels(elite 6-9)😢

I love classes added this year and consider this great changes to game although I really dislike how often they're added. There should be at 3 months period between each of them just to let ppl actually enjoy new character, built it get runes etc. For a gacha Items I would call last month face item big win from defensive point of view and I really wish they would add more items like that in near future. I really like shadow gear and idea behind t5 bonuses, although it's really disappointing how long we have to wait for them to be active on shadow equip (50% power should be available in 2nd part of 2024). Also bonuses on defensive items compared to dps are just a joke (2% hp compared to 2% pen? Like really...). So it seems with a lot of great ideas and things devs also messing a lot of other stuff. There's way to much of that to just point it in a comment but long story short - there's still more positive stuff than negative as I still keep playing rom ;) Keep up great work with your content in new year as well ^^ bulls_covfefe EU Eternal Love

For me, the best thing was the update of the time wish machine. Everything else always has also a negative aftertaste. The classes are either too weak or far too strong and throw any diversity out the window. Balancing is non-existent. For me the best part is the time wish gatcha this helps new player get the old gatchas they want specially for me that just got back in the game after 2 yrs of stoping.
