The problem with all record and play programs is the scalability. For example if one page changes you need to change it across 100s of tests individually, how does reflect solve this?

You dont need to. Now they have resuable functions which can contain number of test steps. Same function can be used in other test scripts. So no need to write the same script again.

how to pass excel data to the test? And How to capture data for which will be generated in the execution, for example if its a insurance policy flow which i am automating the policy number will be generated at last step of execution, how can i get that policy number data into a excel sheet?
