@@GUIDE_Nico I’d say it’s a bit of both. For the most part, you’re able to figure things out by using the clues in the environment but there were a few times I felt stuck and just wandered around until I figured it out.

I didn't game for a couple of years, had some health issues that prevented me from devoting any time to the hobby. But I picked up a Series X & picked up Code Vein. What really grinds my gears is so many people calling it Anime Souls as a pejorative. I absolutely love Code Vein, think it really is one of the best games I've played, regardless of its DNA.

I don’t like dark souls style games due to my lack of time to develop the required skills but for some reason this game felt more like my personal comfort level especially with the partner A.I partner assisting you in battle! They actually fight hard and sacrifice their health to keep you in the fight! The only regret I have is I wish I had of purchase this title sooner! Never the less, this was the selling point for me! Including multiple endings!

I stayed up past 12 am for five hours trying to beat the game. Appearently there’s three endings. I’ve gotta say, the ending I got was beautiful, but sad. I love the story and characters

the good ending "dweller in the dark" has two versions. It can be both acquired in a single playtrough, but be on watch for that, both versions are required for all ending trophy. Make sure to NOT collect all Eos vestiges before final boss. Then, before entering new journey, you gotta collect them and rematch the boss.

the thing I love about the character customization is that you can make your character look like an anime character that you love or a character from another game like if you want 2B from Nier Automata you can do that or if you want Hinata from Naruto you can do that it's just crazy I have seen at least 20 different characters from other franchises I even seen Ken Kaniki from Tokyo Ghoul

Interesting, I may cook a Claymore or Cobra and maybe Darkness from Konosuba lol, that makes sense if she is going to get punishment. However gameplay looks slow.

You can farm offline for that online trophy. Tower of trial I is the place. Will take you a few good and long play sessions, but it's all combat, pretty satisfying.

I actually played this the day it came out. Sad the dlc was lacking, I would've loved an expansion for it. Hopefully the possibility they plan to have for it and God Eater, will be revealed soon. I'm even replaying it again due to a streamer I enjoy just started it.

I liked it well enough esp. the positive points mentioned above. It's not as polished as a Souls mainline game though and seems like it was shipped when complete enough. I felt the level design was tiresome sometimes to traverse like the swamp or esp. the not sure what was it cathedral level or something later. It's solid enough for action fans though to play and I liked the art design and the dystopian vampire story.

Enjoyed it more than darksouls because of the versatility the customisation add, although Souls games aren't my favorite genre this one was a solid soullike.

Its pretty awesome so far. I enjoy how it looks a lot and you can make very unique characters. Gameplay is very addictive, difficult but not really cheap(very difficult without partner but reminds me a lot of the original demon's souls).

I pretty sure most people hate the game because it to easy (even tho i do agree it easier then most souls game) not mention the DLC is bad , bad map design ,because it anime so alot of people hate it as well, to much re use enemy and i know 80 % of the people play the game hate the story also it have mod support For co op honnor coin you can farm that in the tower trial , co op it not good duo to the fact that both players cant use mistles and resources is share meaning that if you running out of healing item it quite painful The second thing the god eater series ome how have connection to code vein

If it is like Dark Souls I am out, however the plot, visuals, style, settings look cool, if the character is not a re tard rolling with zero speed, heals take a million years and moveset is non existant and defensive or depends on boring arts like in FS games is a hard pass, I was expecting something more DMC, Nioh or Monster Hunter like than slowsoftware, even Lies of Pi speed and dodge are better.

I see the character creator as the cherry on top. Yes, the game is similar to other soulslikes, but I don't see it as copy any more than Lies of P, Lords of the Fallen, Blasphemous or a million other games.

@Yotsuba it's kinda different from those games. I've got a plat for all fromsoft games, and they don't play similar at all. This is a story game with souls like game loop, and that's where the similarities end.
