Code With me Using Python to Build an Expense Tracker App

Hi friends! In this video we are going to be automating our financial lives with Python by building a simple expense tracking app. This is a great project whether you are new to Python or have some coding experience and want to create a practical, useful application.
The purpose of this expense tracker is to help you easily log and categorize your expenses, giving you better visibility into your spending habits. You'll learn how to take in user input, store and manipulate data, and display helpful expense breakdowns and summaries.
Even if you are an experienced developer, this project is a fun way to practice your Python skills while creating a tool that can help you better manage your personal finances. I hope you enjoy building this app along with me!

How about a simple CRUD web app to accomplish this with some sort of front end to visualize the data you're trying to represent as well as have persistent storage? Id recommend flask.

@@TiffInTech well I’m not sure actually 🤔 back in 2014 I had a car crash and suffered a severe diffuse axonal brain injury, coma for 4 months hospital for 10. So I’m not as physically able as I used to be so I can’t do what I did. So I’m interested in more software side, like coding, but it’s harder to learn with a brain injury. So I’m still trying to see what I fancy, although I love home automation and home assistant. Although I haven’t got my own house yet so I can only go so far with it. I’d love to create an iOS app but there’s so much to learn and I’m doing so much to recover, so everytime I think of an idea I find before I can do anything about it it’s already been done 🤣 so I’m not sure what I’d like to do, but I love your channel!
