The breakdown of latency and data transmission was spot on. It’s fascinating to see how milliseconds can make or break the gaming experience.

Ain't no way that scientifically optimised one would've worked 😂 I mean it would've with practice obv but it looks shite and has weird key placement.

You are absolutely right: slower than a secretary, rate limited for even the simplest queries, restricted (you can't copy from the computer window to the chat window), and even more expensive than a human eating up your deposit at anthropic quickly. - But nevertheless, this is the beginning; at this moment: useless.

I learned WORKMAN for about 2 months of forced, continuous use and got up to ~60 WPM. It is still much slower than QWERTY (~110 WPM) but nothing is stopping you from changing keyboard layouts.

It's almost as if we've inherited the QWERTY keyboard model in our genes. You could even think of it as an evolutionary disadvantage. 🤔

For professionals, the word "Secure" being forcefully added to the name makes it obvious that the architecture has been rushed and is not even fully tested for security.

Androids have more options and competitive pricing (multiple companies trying to sell to Android users), and focus less on being a camera and more on being a computer. They're also typically more hardy, and the manufacturer won't recommend replacing after each new phone. Barring infrastructure upgrades like 5G, Android phones can last forever. Then there's the suckers who buy air pods every other year...

I’m still a little confused as to what Viam does. Studied robotics engineering so when you talk about connecting the 2 I’m thinking of platforms like ROS that already use the node structure to connect sensors and software. Is Viam similar to that? Just a lil confused on how it’s making it more accessible.
@ricricric2 күн бұрын
Its much simpler than setting up a ROS install. Setting up ROS and its nodes is a huge task by itself. Viam is much more streamlined for a lot of tasks.
