There are so many possibilities in which direction you can go. Jumping onto every trend would quickly burn you out, and you'd become mediocre at any given technology at best. So I'd say: 1. Identify an established field that you're comfortable with. For me, it's right at the edge between design and development, so frontend/UI development 2. Focus on this, get really good at it and make money with it 3. For any upcoming trend, check this: - Is it something that you can build on top of your existing expert knowledge? - Can you imagine something fun and useful to build with this technology? - If not, do you really _want_ to learn it out of pure interest anyway? - Is it obvious that it's going to stay relevant? => If at least two of them apply, go for it. If not, maybe better skip it. In my case, I skipped Blockchain and didn't go deep into AI. I can imagine diving into VR UI/UX development. This approach would keep you focused, you'd follow a consistent path, and you'd become and stay an expert of coherent fields that complement each other. Also: Be careful with tutorials, it's easy to get trapped in a rabbit hole. Better build stuff that's useful for you. If it might be useful for others as well, maybe consider to open-source it.

It seems like the biggest obstacle to overcome would be that of the electrical grid. We need a more efficient and affordable way to power these plants and generators. As well as a way to where we can all go electric without clogging the grid and causing brown outs and such. Better more efficient batteries would help, if they could keep a charge longer than that would help reduce the amount of times needing to charge up. This 3M product is amazing and will also certainly contribute to better efficiency. However there is alot to be done in order for us to all go electric and also still be conscious of the impact on the environment. As it is now we are putting more pollution out from the fossil fuels needed to power several plants. Not really worth it at the moment if the “carbon” offset is next to nil. It’s just driving up prices on utilities in its current form. You need seed water and sun to grow. You can have a couple of these thing but still not enough to make a comprehensive crop. For it to work as it should, you need all 3.

I think smarter is to stop trend chasing and think about making something useful instead. And that will guarantee your success. Only useful products and jobs makes money. If you are chasing crowd that chases trend, that only leads to diminishing returns. The only profit you can gain is if you are only reporter or influencer that wants to post trending topics, but again you end up in a crowd of other reporters that just regurgitate same trending topics.

Hey I started learning a big data analytics recently and also self- studying math cuz I thought math is the most fundamental stuff to learn for tech career. Am I on the right track??
@the_okayest_dad15 сағат бұрын
Yes and no. It really depends on your interests and goals. If you're getting into big data, it's crucial to learn SQL and Python (start with the pandas library). For math, focus on: Linear Algebra: Important for data science and machine learning. Statistics and Probability: Key for data analysis and predictive modeling. Calculus: Useful for optimizing machine learning algorithms. Also, learn a big data tech like Hadoop or Spark (PySpark is a great start). Lastly, get familiar with a visualization tool like Power BI, Tableau, or matplotlib. This will give you a strong foundation. (Source: Am a data scientist with 12 years experience) Oh, and get signed up with Kaggle and do some projects there. You can add these to your portfolio as well. Good luck!
