Code3 PSE Mini XL9K pair

Got some free time, Easter Monday and the weather is excellent.
Here we have a matching set of Mini XL9Ks, their SNs are sequential. The motors show a build date of 9/19/91.
Both were originally clear domes with red bulbs, I swapped out the red for blue 7400s while giving them a cleanup and polish.

I remember when Code 3 first came out with the "SD" bar. Looked like the TwinSonic except for the additional pods in the inboard sides. As I remember, I think Federal sued them because that bar looked almost exactly like the Federal bar.

I have a newer version of the Sireno Condor on the get to eventually pile. I do not believe however I have any spare parts for it.

I used to set up vehicles for TV and movies.. One thing I did a lot was take standard watt par36 bulbs out and replace with 11 watt because at night you couldn’t see anything but the beacons. Those look like 11s to me.
